[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Type 1 diabetic, I am always looking for low glycemic snacks that can satisfy my sweet tooth. When I saw this Oreo collaboration protein bar I got excited. I haven't had Oreos in the year since I was diagnosed and I seriously miss that flavor. Unfortunately, I didn't get that from this Clif Bar. In fact, I didn't even get a knock-off cookies and cream flavor. I'm not really sure what to compare this to. I was able to eat the whole thing, so I'm not saying it was a total loss, but don't go in expecting it to taste like Oreo. I'm sure it accomplishes everything else it's going for (high protein, low glycemic impact), and it is filling, so I still give it three stars.

It tastes of yummy Oreos covered in chocolate and there are NO ACTUAL OREOS USED IN THIS BAR!!! I am amazed at how they could deliver this taste and flavor and texture of the cookies so accurately. The added 20 g of protein just adds to the product. The bar itself was so tempting to look at too when I first unwrapped it!! Really excited to try other flavors from them.

I can respect the high protein quality but the sugar content makes it more suitable for hiking or other similar activities, not weight lifting.

If you’re a breastfeeding mom who’s starving 24/7 then you know how hard this is! I had this clif bar as a sweet treat after lunch today and was so surprised! It kept me full until the end of my work day. I love that the texture is a mixture between a granola bar and traditional protein bar. Oreo flavor is a plus!

I’ve had better tasting bars that have had far more protein in them as well

The bar had a creamy taste with a bit of a crisp and didn’t taste proteiny at all. The chocolate coating is a plus! Not going to be my go to CLIF protein flavor, but good as an option.
