I purchased the previous model of this machine for a small vending business. It looks identical to this, so I'm not sure why they list it as a different model, but that is why this has so few reviews, it reset the reviews when they changed the model number. They have been selling this machine for several years. I have been running it for about 2 years now and it has been great. I bought it without the card reader and set it up with another brand of card reader, they probably don't want brands listed here, but there are only a few options to choose from, so you can figure it out. The machine is sturdy but probably wouldn't stand up well to the kind of use and abuse it would take in a shopping mall or a high school. I think it's probably best suited for a small business environment, teachers lounge etc. The rebate program is legit, I sent the receipts in and got a check a few weeks later. My only wish is that they offered a bigger variety of products in the rebate program. The Gatorade and Propel are fine and sell pretty well, the pretzels and crackers on the other hand, good luck. Unless you have an extraordinarily high volume location, or maybe several locations, you will never get through 13 boxes of mini pretzels with 60 bags each. So the rebate program seems generous, and for the right setup it is, you just need to ask yourself how realistic it is for your location. It's no problem if you only partially utilize the rebate, they will pay you for whatever you submit, it just hurts to leave money on the table.

The machine is very sturdy. Plenty of selections and variety of snacks and drinks for employees and visitors. The rebate program makes a huge difference because of the savings. Overall very happy.

Good with Reservations
So the complaints about the cashless device and billing, etc. are well deserved. But here's the thing -- Selectivend has nothing to do with the cashless device. I've had countless issues with one of the cashless providers (Cantaloupe) for the last 8 years. But this is a SEPERATE issue from the machine itself. The machine itself is VERY reliable once you get it going (see below). I've used them exclusively for my combo machines for over 8 years. I own 20 of them. They are also pretty easy to work on if anything goes wrong. Yes, "Customer Service" (again, not Selectivend, but Vendnet USA) takes, generally, a LONG time to get to if you call (be prepared to wait around 45min. ). But they are VERY helpful once you get on the phone with them. So why only 3 Stars? The reason I do not give them more stars is because Selectivend (and the manufacuturer, Wittern) need to improve in these areas: 1.) I have yet to receive a single invoice for any of the 20 mahcines I've purchased through Selectivend. Not one. And no, they did not go to my "junk" box -- I've checked. This is entirely unacceptable and unprofessional. 2.) I'd say almost every machine I've gotten from Selectivend has had at least one issue upon delivery (usually minor) that needed to be fixed. So make sure everything works and everything vends, etc upon setup. Quality control is TERRIBLE in my opinion. But once everything is straightened out I've had reliable service with very few issues with these machines. 3) I've had Selectivend CANCEL orders for machines and never tell me. Insane but true. I've brought these issues to their attention. Nothing has changed to my knowledge or experience. So I would purchase this model from Selectivend (or their drink machines, etc), just make sure you understand that cashless is a separate issue and make certain all functions of the machine work properly upon delivery. And forget about getting an invoice for the machine, lol.

We apologize if you purchased with a credit card for some of your earlier orders from 2018-2020 and not provided an invoice. For financed orders, the finance company is always able to provide copies of documentation. If you're still financing the machine from your last purchase in 2023 we can certainly help with payment confirmations. The finance company is able to provide a copy of the original purchase agreement and an outline of your payments applied throughout the term. For financed orders that have been paid off, they can still provide details depending on the amount of time since contract disposition. Your feedback is truly appreciated. Thank you.
Great Machine - Poor Support Service and Reports
The machine is great. Awesome that it does both dry food and cold drinks. Easy to set up the machine itself. However, the set up for reports and customer service team for this machine is frustrating, time consuming, and I would recommend finding a different vending machine that might have better support if you value the reporting side (sales, costs, timestamps, payment method, etc) There are 6 different companies that support his vending machine when you get the cashless pay system and they will send you in circles. What should take a couple hours to learn and get all the reporting set up, it has taken me weeks to get in contact with the correct depart and receive the help needed to get set up with reporting and understand how the machine is operating.

Poor customer service
The machine is ok, cooling failed after about four years, and good luck getting service. The biggest issue was the credit card payment device. After a year of trying to resolve and over 50 hours on hold, I managed to cancel it

Worst customer service ever!!!
The machine was working great and the Cantalope turned off our service, they claim we didn't fill out a compliance form but it was never sent to us and they said it was sent out before we bought the machine. They have also refused to send us a new form. This has been the worst customer service I have ever had with being in business for over 25 years.

Don't recommend this product. It has been a headache ever since I bought it several years ago. Plan to get rid of it.
