As a long-time user (since 1985) of TurboTax, I was again pleased with the thoroughness of the Personal software DESPITE a less-than-stellar experience with TurboTax Business this year (which was much less polished than the Personal software).

I filed electronically and return was rejected. The program wouldn't allow me to change anything, it kept giving a pop-up that some previous action wasn't completed correctly. Thankfully I could still printout the return and file in paper form.

I lost $55 of my Federal Refund due to hidden costs in Payment Options. I have seen many complaints about this same problem. Doubt if I will use Turbo Tax in the future

Ridiculous that on a 1099-Misc I cannot enter Rent & Royalties on one 1099. Took me hours to figure out that I had to create a separate 1099-Misc and divide the two up and alter the payor name slightly so TurboTax didn't get confused.

I have used Turbotax for years and the Desktop version is fanctastic. I have helped others using the online version and it is significantly less intuituve and difficult to use.

Tax year 2025 went well. Had trouble in the filing but with the aid of phone support determined my VPN was the culprit. Turned VPN off and et Voila my taxes are filed.

TurboTax helped me complete and file taxes for all the various members of my family with their individual complexities. It is really convenient that TurboTax can fil in items from parents' tax return to dependents' returns, if needed.

excellent product - i only have one complication, so mine is relatively straightforward. it took about 3 hours to complete. This year, i didn't have any confusing questions.

Your program is getting clunkier and more difficult to load and operate. I also got hung up on a "review, fix error" item that involved $0.44 of investment income for cost basis. The missing number WAS on the investment copy form.

Yes it takes time to process your taxes using Turbo Tax but it also saves you much more money if you choose a local tax prepation compny. The program covers everything step by step in easy to understand language. Great Product for the money !!!
