it's terrible experience compared to turbotax website. I couldn't copy and paste the text or content while proceeding the tax return process. why not possible? since I wasn't able to copy and paste the text, it was very difficult to discuss with AI.

Form 1116 It would be helpful if the amount of the dividends for foreign tax paid would be in front of determining the countries. With more than one 1099 it's not possible to figure out which one is being worked on.

Accuracy was good for federal and state forms. Compatibility and features were excellent. The interface was clunky and very difficult to navigate or return to areas that have already been addressed. Didn't use support.

I couldn't electronically file my state return because the form that takes the information for the credit card will not fit on my laptop's screen, so I cannot provide all of the information necessary for one to use a credit card to pay the $20.

Was very easy to use - it's great that the interface remains relatively stable each year so you're not relearning a lot. Can't think of doing my taxes any other way!

I was absolutely hosed on taxes this year. Really seems like TurboTax gets worse every year and provides no value beyond a method of submission. 3rd year in a row that I've paid taxes.

I bought the Desktop version this year because my financial advisor said I would need a certain form: 8606 for a rollover. It didn't print so I guess I didn't need it after all. Will go back to online next year.

This was my first time using an expert and I am so glad I did. The expert was VERY helpful and knowledgeable. He was a great and very patient with me. He could not have any better. I always use Turbo Tax and will continue to use.

I ran into more issues this time with Turbo Tax. I understand its intent isn't to teach me about tax laws, but there was no explanation for the reasons behind TT telling me it was better to itemize than to take the standard deduction.
