I bought the Desktop version this year because my financial advisor said I would need a certain form: 8606 for a rollover. It didn't print so I guess I didn't need it after all. Will go back to online next year.

the place to enter room and board charges for my student son was added very late (maybe march 1sst week) in 2025 Turbo Tax. Need to have these basic things in Turbo Tax right from fist release of the software.

On California Capital Loss Carryover Worksheet, 2024 capital loss carryover (part 1 line 8) did not carryover to 2025 worksheet. Entered manually to fix.

I've been using Turbotax for almost 30 years and I continue to be very pleased. This year I had to use the online human tax expert help and she saved me almost $300 more. Love this program and its service

Alway a good Tax Return Prep Process. However, I do miss having the Investment Company names and account numbers already loaded in the return as you enter the Tax Data. Have been a User for over a decade.

Wasn't sure how TurboTax was going to work with inherited IRAs, inherited annuities, and inherited brokerage accounts. It wasn't painful at all...in fact much simpler than I anticipated.

Overall Turbotax was great the only problem I had the form for the 1099B waschanged I could not figure it out >had to call to talk to one of your tax experts her name is Liz we had to do a screen share Liz was able to walk me through the form.

I ran into more issues this time with Turbo Tax. I understand its intent isn't to teach me about tax laws, but there was no explanation for the reasons behind TT telling me it was better to itemize than to take the standard deduction.

Not a lot of support with the Desktop Version. Had trouble with my pin so instead e-filing I have to send it in. I would not use this again or recommend it to anyone.
