TurboTax is not quite up to date on Massachusetts tax exempt teachers' retirement form. It didn't ask whether this was exempt from state taxes. I had to dig through the forms to place the correct code on the form 1099-R.

Unpleasantly arduous. Compared to previous years, the software is becoming more incoherent and less helpful. The diminishing concern with self-help tools in favor of the constant push for "personal help" is predatory and unwelcome.

I spoke with Breosha, who checked for me about online versus desktop and the "free" offer that ended up being $64 online. She was helpful, but I did not appreciate the unclear offer.

I spoke with one of your live agents (Maria). She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She resolved all of my issues and I was able to complete my tax return after talking with her. Very grateful.

I did not request any support because it looks like you did away with being able to ask a simple question for free and if I needed an answer to a simple question it was going to cost me $60.00.

pls make it easy - (and prompted?) - to view the tax return to be filed (as it would appear completed to whatever point in the process) as it would appear if filed by mail in printed form.

In general, descriptions of new tax laws were fine. I didn't have the confidence in some of my responses to questions that I usually had. I don't know if this is that some of the new laws are more complicated or not.

I found the investment accounts/interest harder to follow than last time. Odd listing. Also, you did not ask me if I had an IRS PIN. So my return was rejected and I had to go and find out how to get my new pin. You should have helped me with that.

Good experience and information at finger tips. Filing both federal and state becomes an easy task. Downloads from brokerage firms is wonderful ad a real time saver.
