Useability of this product is below expectations (previous experience). Corners cut and useability not fully tested. Pathetic activation functionality. Poor use of screen space -- why make so small on my screen??? Hard to read information pop ups. You are lucky Im giving it a C. This product was perfect in previous year s but for the past few, it has gone downhill. Consider my loyalty fully tested and nearly drained. Get it together (again)!

I have been using TurboTax for over 10 years. The first three years we also had a tax accountant do our taxes, but i matched every time. The last year TurboTax found a tax savings that the tax accountant had not beenaware of. From then on it has been TurboTax every year.

I prefer the older format. Also, geting help understanding particular entries was difficult. The help app via turbo tax was difficult to use. I often actually went on-line and asked how to access a particular aspect of turbo tax - like "where do I enter ***".

This year the importing of information was difficult and not reliable. It was difficult to find the spot for entering information that I knew was needed, but not offered during the walk through of the different sections. I never felt comfortable that all of the data was entered as needed. My comfort level with the program wasn't as good as years past.

The desktop version has issues with fitting font sizes in various places. The most obvious is the 'File Edit View Tools Online Help" area at the top left. I started to look at the cloud version of Turbo Tax but did not feel comfortable using it and did not like the look and feel compared to desktop version.

ACCURACY: Very disappointed with the first completion of my return. It showed almost all of my IRA's basis used up by almost $20,000.00 too much reducing my taxable RMD. The next day when getting ready to e-file, I noticed a $5000.00 difference between the previous refund noted and the new amount now owed the IRS. At first, I thought that maybe the rules had changed to allow all remaining basis to be credited to the current taxable RMD (not true) like was done with depreciation of a company's capital investment for that year. Apparently that morning's software update corrected that huge mistake. FEATURES: Entering interest and dividend data this year was a pain compared to last year. Last year both interest and dividends for the previous year were listed with a column for this year's entries adjacent to the pervious year's data. All I had to do was enter this year's data for each noted financial company and then drop down to the next company. Easy! This year the old data was NOT listed and I had to go to an income screen and click on Interest Square and then make my first entry which did not then appear, so I had no visibility of what account I had entered and what was not entered yet. Same for interest, you never knew where you were in entering multiple accounts. I had to look at Schedule B worksheet to see my progress. Why do you make revisions that add no improvement but instead increase my work and frustration???? Third unnecessary Feature: Repeatedly requesting me to fill out a State return for a state that has NO income tax. Some of my friends using Turbo Tax had the same gripe! Your software should know what state I live in by checking my home address to a list of states with NO income tax! Not that hard to program.

I feel a little uneasy about this year's return due to some issues with imported documents. Still love using TurboTax just wish that some things were better. (i.e.: I use TurboTax every year and every year you ask how much I paid for tax prep and I have to go look it up when you have that information) Other than that I will continue to use and recommend your software.

I did my taxes with the new online version but I reverted back to the old App version for my kids. It took me over 4 hours to complete my taxes and about the same for my son. we had issues with TurboTax adding 2 1116 forms due to a foreign tax credit and carryover from previous years. I deleted both and tried to add one back with both but the form online looks very different to what we printed in prior years so couldn't reconcile where various figures should be entered. I will just give up the benefit (354 + 14.40) since my son is a minor and doesn't pay taxes yet. Also, to have to go in and adjust every sale of GLD and SLV due to sales for fees to cover management expenses. I had over 4 hours into doing the taxes of a teenager that made under $4000 so at some point I had to stop the time attempting. I am very analytical and don't like failing to figure things out, so congratulations on getting me to give up.

The import ability did not work so I had to call support. The person I had was very good but the fact that the import capabilities weren't working at all on the desktop version is just not good. I should have at least got a discount considering it didn't work correctly.
