I find TurboTax Premier very difficult to use. I choose to input forms manually vs importing information. I like to have control over my inputs. It is very difficult to navigate where to input forms and the step by step is no help. Additionally, my 1099's from my brokerage accounts have DIV, INT and B all on the same document. You have to input them in 3 different places in TurboTax, not 1 form with all 3 different inputs.

The elimination of It's Deductible required me to spend 4 evenings manually entering in all of my charitable donations. At this point, Turbo Tax is just like all the others. Thousands complained and Intuit didn't listen. Obviously the people making the decision do not use the product, or they would have realized the value of keeping it.

Outrageous that after completing e-file there is a notification to send in a paper form 8453. And the form indicates another form 8489 is required and it is not in the same file which means I have to go find it. And the additional $25 e-file fee for the state filing is offensive as the cost for that process can not possibly be anything close to that amount. I will not use Turbo-Tax going forward.

Downloading my financial institutions documents into TurboTax was very frustrating this year. I could not downloading using my Microsoft Edge browser. I had to convert to Chrome in order to downloading. Very frustrating!!! I have not experienced this in past years.

I've used TurboTax for many years and this is the first year I haven't given it a 5-star rating. It remains accurate but it is not as easy to use as in previous years. I wish I could pinpoint exactly what was so different but I can't. I love the way it brings the previous year's information forward very easily. I love that it can be used step by step or by topic. I always enter data by topic as forms come in. It makes the final job easier. When I have all my forms entered, I go through the step by step process to be sure I haven't missed anything, then I file electronically. I filed my Federal return but held back on the state as I wasn't quite done with it. When I went back to electronically file the state return, I had a terrible time getting back to it. I fought with the program for about 5 hours before I was able to electronically file my state return. But, both are done now and I will definitely use TurboTax again next year. It still makes the whole process easier.

Excellent product, but please include an option from the start to opt for the standard deduction. We are seniors who have a sizable standard deduction and, therefore, do not need to go through all the deductions we do have because they do not come close to the total of the standard. It would make things much easier for us in the future.

I have used TT Premier for many years and the 2025 version was slow in coming but straight forward to follow. I required some advise for which I paid. This advice was not particularly helpful and no follow up was permitted. I also consulted a TT expert -based in Texas- who was very helpful in sorting some difference between VA and CA filings. For the second year I used the TT download but these filing are not uploaded to TT. This is something I wish could be rectified.

I used TurboTax Premier to help me file my taxes for 2025. This software really helps to guide you through entering your tax information, and greatly helps to simplify doing your taxes. I have used this software for decades, because I know I can do my own taxes without needing any additional help.

I've used TT for years and I love it. Never had a problem with my filed returns. This year it seemed that I had to do a little more work to complete my return. I would prefer that TT bring forward all my info from the previous year and let me edit anything that has changed. Also it would be great if last years data was presented beside this years data entry fields so that it would be easy to check my entries for reasonability while I'm entering them.

Program tax calculations seem to be good. A bit disappointed as follows: Online version version is awkward. Can only build 1 set of tax forms per id. Can't use same email address for other accounts (ids). - - - - - - - THIS PRODUCT ---- (Desktop Premier) Prefer desktop version, like using 'Forms' mode 1) Lost Win 10 support for desktop version even with security updates. Had to update to Win 11. 2) Simple things: Credit card month dropdown does not work past 08. Took 3 tries. Had the SAME problem with 2024 version. Can only enter email address in personal wks using an override. Field is locked Can't check electronic filing without getting it flagged as an error (red)
