We chose to stain the wood to match our tiki shed. We customized it further with tiki/ beach themed items and an outdoor T.V. We get so many compliments from our guests! The gazebo kit arrived with easy to follow instructions and my husband was able to assemble it with only a little help along the way. This is a quality product and is very well made. The hardware accents the wood. We are extremely happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.

This gazebo is so much sturdier than our previous setup and with the metal roof and electrical outlets, it provides all we need. The product installation was well documented and the step by step video tutorial made it super easy to assemble without second guessing what you were doing. A few steps require a second or third person, but for the most part it was a one man assembly. We love the look and are hoping to enjoy it for years to come.

The team of assemblers put them together expediently. One post came with some shipping gouges and customer service was quick to send out a replacement. Forgive the white specks in the photos, we are getting ready to test the snow load. Now we just need to find someone who can build a matching unit 24x12.

We absolutely love our new gazebo. The cedar is sturdy and gorgeous, and the roof is really durable, which is so essential in our midwest climate. We love the power outlet feature so we can hang outdoor lights, as well as a TV! The size is perfect to fit our large outdoor sectional, with ample room to spare.

The wood is beautiful and has stood up to some crazy summer storms already. Assembly was very easy! I built most parts myself and my husband helped with the heavy lifting and putting the assembled pieces together. We added curtains, lights and a TV and have a whole outdoor space that we use most of the year. If we ever move, I’d buy another Backyard Discovery gazebo in a heartbeat!

I just followed the instructions that came with the unit and it went together relatively easy. I do have some building experience so that helped. This is a beautiful, structurally sound unit. Very pleased with how it came out.

The 14 x 12 Gazebo is great! We were able to put it together in three days with a little help from a few friends. The parts fit like a glove. If I had a recommendation, it would be to add a bit more detail to the assembly instructions to answer a few questions and streamline the assembly. Otherwise, a great product, quality wood!

Quality of wood and hardware is very good...no chipped discolored wood and location of pre-drilled holes is accurate. Instructions are better than most others and have detailed steps and pictograms of assembly with ballooned enlargements for clarity. Wood and hardware are all marked and accurate...pre-assembly is critical to success - group all like wood parts and organize hardware by number and your assembly will be efficient.
