It is very frustrating to get to the end of the process and when you try to print it only allows you to preview. You cannot get to a screen that actually allows you to print. It only allows you to preview or save as a PDF. There is no print option on the preview screen. On top of that you have to repeatedly opt out of Defense protection screen. Also, I was unable to import my financial info from Edward Jones.

The Software is GREAT & I am very pleased with the result. This is the first year that I had a need to File 1040-ES, which I did, manually -- outside of Turbo Tax at early January 2026 -- for Q4-2025 Large Earnings. (This was due to ROTH Conversions from my Traditional IRA, for which I paid/deposit the related estimated Tax Deposits, federal + State, from personal Funds.) I found it very PROLONGED... and not necessarily intuitive to get to the place(s) where such Estimated Payments FINALLY get reflected and input. I would have appreciated clearer guidance & direction, as to when & where such data entry.. would come. I just kept plowing forward.. & eventually the data entry screens became available. It worked-out, & worked well. Just not clear cut or comfortable, along the way.

My return got rejected. Why? It was because I was missing my IP PIN. There is a reason I do the step-by-step filing, so I don't miss inputting any information. ADD IT IN! I need to be able to file my taxes in period of time and not have to go in again to "correct it". I might as well do free file with the IRS. What is the point of your product.

FORM 6262 PART 3 LINE 19 NEEDS TO BE UPDATED TO ALLOW FOR CORRECT GROSS PROFIT % LESS THAN 1. I NEEDED TO USE OVERIDE TO PUT IN 0,9664 AS MY PROFIT % BUT THE SOFTWARE DEFAULTS TO 1. THIS MADE THE CALCULATION ON LINE 24 INCORRECT. AND CAUSES MY CAPITAL GAINS TO BE MORE THAN IT SHOULD BE. I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO E-FILE WITH THE OVERIDE FOR CORRECT AMOUNT ON LINE 24. IT DID ALLOW FOR ME TO PUT THE OVERIDE CORRECT AMOUNT ON SCHEDULE D- HOPE IT IS STILL ACCEPTED BY IRS ALSO SOME FORMS THAT HAD DROP DOWN BOXES FOR THE STATES DID NOT HAVE THE STATE OF WASHINGTON. (WA) ON THEM.

I've been using this product for more than 15 years and have found it to be super easy to input my information. I use the Deluxe version and have found to it very easy to navigate through the various sections of the return process. Help is always available if needed and while I select what I want to work n there is an option for the program to walk you through each section if needed. I also appreciate the ability the program imports prior years information automatically. i've had no issues with this product for more than 15 years of use.

Never had a problem until this year. Have used Turbo Tax for years. Problem with Block 14 and 16 of 1099-R. Block 14 has a dollar amount, block 16 is blank. Turbotax says block 14 cannot be larger than block 16 and flags this as an issue that needs to be resolved before taxes can be transmitted. 1099-R is correct, as block 16 has always been blank in the past.

I've used it for many years, and it always worked perfectly. Today however, there was a bug in the system...I couldn't enter "stuff" into TurboTax on a particular screen (Federal Carryover Worksheet) I ended up talking to one of your tech support agents, and she was GREAT. Chavmasha (spelling??) knew what she was doing, was polite knowledgeable and VERY helpful.

I have prepared my own Taxes for a very long time, using TurboTax. On another note where you ask "if you are a citizen and lived abroad in any ..countries". when you select NO, why do you ask questions about those countries ??? I liked last year's format better

This year's Turbo Tax seems full of bugs. Examples: I told it I have no retirement accounts and it started asking me about my Canadian retirement accounts. It wanted me to enter state sales tax percentage. I entered 7.8 and it rendered it as 7.8.0000. After messing with it I found I had to enter the 7, then click to the end of the 4 zeros, backspace to the decimal point and enter the 8. There are more examples that are just very frustrating to deal with a bad UI/UX while trying to comprehend what is being requested for the government forms.

My experience was generally good but two items could be improved. First, this year I was not able to download my brokerage statements directly and had to enter amounts manually. This is the first time in several years that this was a problem. I tried multiple times on multiple days. Second I have several accounts with the same brokerage. There should be a way to identify the last 4 numbers of the account number so these can be identified and prompted correctly from year to year. The program prompts on interest from Brokerage, for example, but that is not helpful if there are several accounts with interest and it is impossible to know what account it is prompting for.
