I already made a comment that I was unable to import any of my information from my bank and my broker. It said I needed Quickbooks or TXF files. I don't have Quickbooks or TXF files, so I had to enter everything manually. That was very annoying. Also, I did not want to file my state tax forms electronically, and indicated that . However everything I printed referred to me filing electronically. My tax form showed a large N after the "e-file opt out" question, and I was unable to change that. I had clicked that I was NOT filing that tax form electronically. I am vey disappointed and that is why I gave only 3 stars this time.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years. Generally it is pretty good. I am finding that as the years go by, the people making updates are unnecessarily modifying the user interface. This is quite confusing, as it is almost like I have to re-learn the product every year. There is NO NEED to modify a user interface simply to make it "more cool". What is the absolutely necessary bug that needs to be fixed on the user interface? Why are you rearranging items that were in a very understandable order into something that is unnecessarily complicated?

On the whole, it worked well. It did not, however, ask me if I wanted to apply my refund to next year's taxes as it always has in the past. Also, I initially tried the online version, but it would not let me transfer my data from last year's return. It told me the file was corrupt even though I could open and close it with last year's desktop version and had no problem transferring the data into this year's desktop version. I am unhappy that I ended up paying for both the online and the desktop version.

I have always loved and used turbo tax. Today I was instructed to download the 2022 software in order to do so. When I completed all steps to file these taxes, I was informed they have to be printed and mailed and I was unable to use the software to do so. I am very disappointed that I spent $80.00 to have to mail my return in. This seems very redundant and a waste of money.

I've used TurboTax since 2021 and previously always found it easy to use. The first time I used Turbo-Tax this year (2025), I finished all entries but i not file because I first wanted to check everything the next day. I logged in the next day and kept getting an Error 190 for which there was no explanation. I closed the application and signed in again and had to enter all information again. I was very frustrated with entering the same information multiple times, e.g. IRA/SEP/simple box contents for each form multiple times. Also, for my CSA 1099R I was not allowed to efile taxes until contents of box 3 were entered. THERE IS NO BOX 3 ON THE CSA 1099R!!!

I had issues with the passkey chain and whether the data uploaded or not, that some 1099's were loaded twice, I found it confusing and frustrating. I also don't appreciate being asked multiple times to pay for additional services, especially to file the state return when I can go to the state website and file for free.

I have used Deluxe for many years. Always good, except this year. I was importing a broker statement, which worked fine in the past. This year, there were many omissions of data. I spent many hours inserting hundreds of missing fields. All fields were included in the broker's statement, so the problem must have been with the program. I could find nowhere to get assistance from Intuit.

I love Turbo Tax but this year decided to pay one of the MD Tax return fee with a credit card. all went fine until I had to enter the expiration Date which was 12/29. I could enter everything else except the 12 in the expiration date. I could go up to the 08 month but could not enter anything after 08. I ended up using another credit card that was 05/29 and it worked fine. Possible bug?

I have been using Turbo Tax for numerous years without any problems, did find this years, meaning 2025, has some problems when it came to my 1099-R from both the Depart of Defense and Civil Service. Both of these problems were correct be re-entering the required information before my data was saved upon completion of 2025 Federl and State Tax Returns. No issue were noted on State of Maine returns, all data for state loaded correctly.

It's a great program and fairly easy to use. With the help of an AI you can easily solve more complex problems that would have caused you to consult a tax authority previously. My big complaint is the redundancy of filling out information when you file. Instead of offering to let you review last years filing instructions you have to re-enter account and routing numbers... and if that isn't annoying enough, you are forced to do it again when filing the state taxes!
