I experience a "left me hanging" glitch while importing 1099's from my financial institutions. After pressing the button to download the document, there was no indication wait, proceed, close window, import in process, import finished, go to another window. Nothing. After a long wait, ALT+ Tab showed another window with import complete.

I have used Turbo Tax for at least 20 years. I usually rave about how intuitive it is to use; not so much this year. i did not like opening a form for the first time and seeing error messages because I did not enter any data yet; duh. There were several times when I thought "what's next" or why did I get that message". I never had those problems in prior years.

Turbo Tax never included the direct deposit mandate by the IRS! Now my son has to jump through hoops to get his refund. Turbo Tax washes their hands with this requirement. They should negotiate with the IRS to release the paper check immediately in accordance with their software and lack of the IRS requirement~

Cannot print for filing. Made 1 adjustment after 8 hours of work and it will not open the PDF or open it in Turbotax. It made the adjustment and created a PDF(that I cannot find) and will not let me proceed. Tried your help-led me to a confusion of suggestions.

I don't know how to say this, but it seemed much more difficult than previous years. Previously, I did not have to give the amount of RMD. Also, the download was not easy. I had to shut down and start over. The first download seemed to take me directly to filling out the personal info for us without putting in the license code.

A few glitches this year but overall excellent. The whole Canadian business regarding retirement was weird and it took going to the chat to get it cleaned up and removed from my return. I file very early so I guess it takes time for these things to show up???

I was going to file on line.I was unable to because I didn't have my 2024 return. I have every return since 2013 except 2024..So the information requested wasn't available. I tried several times to download it but was unsuccessful. I was denied 4 or 5 times to e-file. I have never had this problem before.

I purchased Turbo Tax 2025 for Mac for desktop so I could do some end of year tax planning. I found that many modules were not ready for use and had to use spreadsheets to perform my end of year tax planning. Also there were still issues with bank transfer information and iIhad to double check the entries from Edward Jones and Charles Schwab against my spreadsheet to make sure they were accurate. I had to manually enter Charles Schwab information. I do not want my taxes on the Internet. In past years this product was better.

1. Synchronize the font size among all modules. 2. Synchronize all dialog boxes. 3. If there is not that much of selections (i.e. 1099-???), contain them in a single page that Users do not need to scroll down. 4. Missing the Senior bonus deduction from the Big & Beautiful Bill.

I lost 2 hrs or work when the program froze up and quit. Unfortunately I assumed this would auto save, but there was no evidence of any file associated with this on my computer. I had to research how to save a file on this program. There should be a button on the form screen to SAVE the file. Also some of the questions under 1099-R were confusing, regarding Arkansas Teacher Retirement. You need to add Arkansas Teacher Retirement to the list of financial institutions so the information can be pulled and reduce some of those confusing questions.
