Turbo Tax Deluxe 2025 Arkansas State After selecting Filing Status 4 (Married filing separately on the same return), Program prompts for selecting "65 Special" tax credit for SPOUSE but does not prompt for selecting "65 Special" tax credit for PRIMARY and automatically applies the "65 Special" tax credit for the PRIMARY! This results in the $6,000 Retirement Exclusion NOT being applied for the PRIMARY!

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years. Generally it is pretty good. I am finding that as the years go by, the people making updates are unnecessarily modifying the user interface. This is quite confusing, as it is almost like I have to re-learn the product every year. There is NO NEED to modify a user interface simply to make it "more cool". What is the absolutely necessary bug that needs to be fixed on the user interface? Why are you rearranging items that were in a very understandable order into something that is unnecessarily complicated?

I've depended on TurboTax for many, many years and have generally found it easy to use and reliable. This year it required more intervention than usual to import data from my financial companies (I had to manually enter many line items. Not sure what changed, since the hardcopy from my main import looks identical to previous years.

On the whole, it worked well. It did not, however, ask me if I wanted to apply my refund to next year's taxes as it always has in the past. Also, I initially tried the online version, but it would not let me transfer my data from last year's return. It told me the file was corrupt even though I could open and close it with last year's desktop version and had no problem transferring the data into this year's desktop version. I am unhappy that I ended up paying for both the online and the desktop version.

I always purchase Turbotax product ahead of time ( October or November ) whenever they drop it in my inbox. Today when I was completing my return, I was asked many times to purchase it again. If this is normal I will stop purchasing the product early.

Have been using Turbo Tax for many years now. This year I had a problem with the desktop TurboTax after a state return download which was not performing correctly. Subsequent to the state download I was not able load the Turbo Tax return at all. After many attempts to uninstall and reinstThanksalling the program without any success the help assistant sent me a link to TT community and i found the responses to similar situations with the correction I needed to make, which was to repair the Microsoft Visual C++ program. Once completed I was able to open TT and when I went to reinstall the state return program I saw that it had a repair patch on the program. Thankfully my return was still intact and I quickly filed my return. Thanks TurboTax!!!!

The program was average overall due to the fac that you discontinued ItsDeductible in October 2025. This unfavorable decision caused a lot of problems for those who utilized the ItsDeductible for the year and then had to find an alternative for the remainder of the year. Add to that, only one program Deductible Duck was able to transfer the data from the 10 months that had already been inputted and then add to their program. Deductible Duck did a yeoman's job in being able to transfer the data into Turbo Tax -however there are a few issues with the Form 8283. A lot of manual entries had to be made because Turbo Tax did not allow some of the data to be transferred. I would have used a different program other than Turbo Tax, but due to the last minute decision by Turbo Tax, my only option was Turbo Tax. I find it irresponsible on Turbo Tax's decision to stop a program used by many for many years and leave us hanging. Again KUDOS to Deductible Duck for saving the day. Deductible Duck is a great program for those of us that like to support those in need and hopefully they will be able to have other alternative tax programs we can use in 2026. Turbo Tax has really disappointed many.

Unreasonably difficult to get software download for second year this year. Considering looking into other tax software options for preparing my return going forward. Not the turbotax product from historical past just average or below average - my expectations have had to adjust to poorer overall experience.

using Turbo Tax for multiple years and it easy and straight forward to use. Only reason for 4/5 instead of 5/5 stars is not listed as being compatible with Windows 10. From what I understand, i see no reason TurboTAx shouldn't be compatible with Windows 10. While I recently got a Windows 11 computer, my mom (age 92) isn't getting a new computer and I do her taxes. I am at least going to try to download TurboTax on her unsupported machine. If that doesn't work, we will have to choose between me hauling my desktop to her place or bringing all her tax documents to mine. For security reasons, I do not consider TurboTax on-line an option.

The estimated taxes section is poor. As a starting point, it should copy all of the information needed from the year just ended to help make estimates for the new year. Trying to guess the information without the new return in front of you is wasteful and error prone. After updating the estimate taxes, the voucher forms have a non-removable watermark "Form Not Final. Do not file", even though the updated forms are correct and the initial set of vouchers was bad and the return was already filed. The foreign tax section and form 1116 is also poor. The program provides little guidance and the interface is problematic. After all of the years, it seems like TurboTax could improve their software.
