I figured I’d try these on a whim, and was not disappointed. Super easy prep %26 instructions. All you need is a fork. You can even store in the container for later. There was plenty of chicken. Delicious and juicy (some pieces could’ve been smaller). One review said they would’ve liked more rice, but then it wouldn’t be as good for you. I thought it was a well balanced protein bowl, and my sons loved it, too. It left me full. Buying more to take for lunches! People have complained about the price, but it does have a convenience factor. If you try to buy a protein bowl anywhere else, it will cost just as much.

We both really loved these! After mixing and heating, it looked a little small in the bowl, so I served them with a side of mixed veggies and just a little extra rice. When I scooped the bowl contents on top of the rice on the plate, I realized it was more food than it looked like in the bowl. Hubby did appreciate the little extra volume though. Would definitely be plenty for lunch, and they have a lot of protein. Heating tip: I tried heating both at the same time: 1 min > stir > another full minute, but it wasn't quite hot enough. I did them separately for another 30 seconds, and that was fine. Next time I will just heat one bowl at a time. More musings: We realized these could be really handy for use in a hotel when traveling. Cheaper than going out for dinner, and a lot less effort after driving all day. And no idea if they can be frozen? Package doesn't say, I may try that and see how they come out. Could be a useful thing to have for a quick dinner (would need more heating obviously, but still....) Will definitely be buying again!

It's ok tasting but waaaay too salty! In fact, the taste of the ingredients is overtaken by the saltiness. Could not finish the bowl %26 will prob have to give away the 2nd bowl in the pack. More than half a persons daily sodium intake per bowl is just way too much. My bad for not looking at the label first.

This was great! The amount of chicken compared to the rice was a lot more than I had expected and was quite pleasing. The salsa verde has a great flavor. I would recommend using half the packet when you stir everything together and use the remaining salsa after you heat it up and as you eat it. If you are not a zucchini person (I'm not), you might see it as it's about the same size as the corn, there is plenty of other flavors and textures for it hide behind. The only thing that I noticed which is why I'm giving 4 stars is that some of the rice still seemed hard/undercooked but not so much that it was a turn off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Surprisingly this was SO GOOD! The over all glovet was great. It was not spicy as it thought it would be which worked great for me. It tastes very fresh. They give you plenty of chicken and you will definitely get full. The veggies were fresh and crisp, so good will be buying more! It's is plenty enough to get you full!!

Everyone's tastes are different, but I really liked this chicken bowl. The chicken remained moist and tender, although I felt it needed heated a bit longer than called for. I like verde sauce and I think some of the low reviews may be folks that don't even know what it is. As for portion size, it's exactly the size a single person should be eating and not made for oversized appetites. Coupled with a few tortilla chips it was ample.

Taste really good- the flavors at bold and the food and serving size is filling! It’s not mushy or soggy like other premade meals. The verde salsa is delicious!! Great taste and nice aftertaste!

These are delicious and quick. A great way to get your protein and a very filling portion. There's plenty of chicken and the flavor is fantastic. The only thing I would add is a bit of spice. I add a little garlic habanero hot sauce and it's absolutely perfect! I brought one of these to work for my lunch break and every person that walked through asked what smelled so delicious. If you're short on time and what something quick, easy and with high protein, you won't regret this choice.

If you freeze this item you will be sorry. It will be soggy. Best way to prepare is on cooktop.

This was not good at all. The chicken tasted fake. The sauce was disgusting and the rice was all clumped together and mushy. I barely finished one and had to throw out the other—awful!
