Have use Scotts and ONLY Scotts for over 20 years. People always stop and ask who does my yard. I tell them I do and I use Scotts. I use the 4 strp program. NEVER a weed. A distinct line between my yard and the neighbor. He doesnt do anything. Mine is dark green and looks GREAT. Had family over from out of state. They were shocked how the grass felt barefoot. I will NEVER use anyother brand. If you want a great yard, Scotts is the only way to get it!

Have used professional lawn services in the past but after 'downsizing' to our retirement home, I decided to perform my own lawn care. Seeded a new lawn 18 months ago and have been using Scotts products as recommended each season since. This year I was told by many visitors and neighbors that I have the best looking lawn in the area. Certainly my lawn looks better than my previous yard under the professional lawn services. Feel very successful in my efforts, but my lawn would not be this lush without Scotts products.

Scott products tend to cost more than the competition's, and definitely more so than "private label" products offered through farm products retailers. This said, even a homeowner like myself (i. e., not a horticulturalist or landscaper) can repeatedly get superior results with Scott's "Turf Builder". In fact, after using "Turf Builder" almost exclusively for the past fifteen years (I have tried a time or two to save a few dollars and go with a private label/bargain product, and/or to save a half hour or so and pay a "professional" lawn care company to spray my yard), I no longer even find the need to apply weed inhibitors or herbicides, as the turf is sufficiently healthy to choke out problem elements. Again, I'm a homeowner who scoots out during half-times and seventh-inning-stretches, applies "Turf Builder" to my KY Bluegrass yard (in Ohio), without necessarily applying under "ideal" conditions, and I still get excellent results by fertilizing four to five times per season. My yard always appears better than the surrounding neighbors, who try to rely on either budget products, or lawn care "professionals". I won't go on. Buy the stuff -- it works, and you do in fact get what you pay for, provided you're after a healthy, lush and green yard to begin with.

Thanks to this product-Scotts Turf Builder And Lawn Food-my lawn has never look so good. I apply it atleast once a year and my lawn is thick and green like none other-my neighbors are even jealous. I use to use another brand of lawn food and the results are no way near that which Scotts produces.Nothing but Scotts for my lawn!

After my Mom asked her neighbors about fertilizing her lawn during the summer because it was really looking bad, and they told her anything that you put on now will kill it. I visited Scotts website and chatted with one of their advisers. They told me I could use this anytime of the year...they were right! after a little over a week her yard was green again. I ended up having to mow it it just about every week. Great product. Already recommended it to several people.

I am a landscape contractor, in New Hampshire. We have a short growing season, so you have to use the best products available, and I always use and recommend to the customer, to use Scotts !! I also like this product because I know that every particle in the bag is exactly the same. Feed It !!

At the beginning of the season I fertilized with a off brand crabgrass preventer. Then I power raked my lawn with a blade attachment. After I was done, I realized it had scalped my lawn. After a week my lawn wasn't responding to watering very fast. So I bought a bag of Turf Builder fertilizer and applied it to my lawn. Within 2 days my lawn greened up really fast and has grown back to normal. I don't know why I try cheaper fertilizers, but trying to save a little money in this economy, it doesn't work with fertilizer.

I apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Lawn Fertilizer every 2 months and my grass looks great even with the record drought we experienced in Texas last summer. I alternate Scotts® Turf Builder® Lawn Fertilizer with 2% iron feedings with every other one. We had severe water restrictions but my grass made it through thanks to regular Scoot's feedings and continues to look great. I can tell which houses in my neighborhood used Scott’s and which ones did not.

I've used Scotts for years. 4 feedings per year keeps my lawn in great shape. A fertilizer plus weed control in the spring, 2 summer feedings, and a fall feeding and you're good to go. There might be less expensive options out there, but the Scotts works and works well.

It has been down 2 weeks now and there is a big change already.
