I used the cooler many times and have been blown away at how long it can hold ice. We had it in the bed of a truck for 2 days while we fenced our pasture in the heat of the sun, and the water stayed cold the entire time! My favorite part about it was the taste. Every other water cooler than I own has had a faint plastic taste when new, but not this one. I also like how they designed the spout. It is easy to remove and clean when needed, but does not leak. Lastly this is the only water cooler that I have that is well vented, yet doesn't leak out of the top when tipped over. This makes the water come out controlled and predictable, Plus it doesn't 'sweat' on the exterior. Well built, great size, easy to maneuver and doubles great as a place to sit when needed. Would recommend to anyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I am a huge fan of Lifetime products. Their customer service and quality have always been stellar. This cooler is no exception! We used this cooler for a family party and mixed some juice in it for the kids. I wasn't worried about the juice leaking even with the kids getting it themselves. I wasn't worried about the juice going moldy in the spout since the spout is removable to be able to wash. I liked the way the cooler clips together to keep your drinks cold. I was worried about the flow of water since the cooler seals so tight to keep the drinks cold, but we haven't had that problem. My husband has now been using it to take to work to refill reusable water bottles instead of buying plastic water bottles. The water stays cold for days, even with very little ice. I love the size, its shorter and square, so it feels more stable to ride in my car with the water or juice in it. The locking lid helps with that security too! I would recommend this cooler we have found we have already saved money (and cooler space) not needing to buy waterbottles. This is our go to cooler!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to be able to receive this cooler in exchange for my feedback. The first thing I did when I got the cooler was fill it with 2 pounds of ice, the ice lasted over 2 days. I left the water in the cooler to see if it would leak out the spout, and to my surprise it didn't. One of the things I hate most is when the spout leaks and it makes my car all wet. After this test, I was ready to use it. Another thing I was concerned about was how heavy it was and if it would be easy to carry. I loaded the water cooler up with ice and drinks and set out for a family get together. The cooler was easy to carry with the lengthy rope handles and plastic grips. The drinks stayed cold all day and well into the next day, as well as the ice remained ice. There are a few things I love about this water cooler, one is the shape, it fits nicely in the back of my SUV and will also fit in the trunk of my daughters car. The next is it can be used as more than just a water cooler, the spout is removable and can be replaced with a regular cooler plug and used as a regular cooler for those day trips. Speaking of the spout, it doesn't leak and is can be completely disassembled for cleaning so no more gross water spouts when you put anything but water in it. Its very easy to clean and the rope handles make save your back when carrying it. All in all this is a great water cooler with lots of functionality and a great way to keep your water, Gatorade, or punch cold. I cant wait to use it all summer whether I'm doing yard work, sitting at softball games, a family BBQ or going for a hike, I know I'll be covered with something cold to drink with this 5 gallon water cooler from Lifetime.

As a family of 4 overlanders this amazing water cooler literally change our life. This is a very versatile product perfect for our camping trips and daily adventures. Our favorite feature is removable non-leak spout with superior air vent with the spill-proof lid. I love the the ice retention, this is very important to us because this cooler keeps the water cold for long time keeping us fresh while we're enjoying the outdoors. We highly recommend this product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just used this for a big family BBQ!!! We put pink lemonade in it with a bag of ice. I was impressed how long it kept the ice from melting. 3 days!!!! The handles are great, making it easy to carry even when it's full. It holds A LOT of liquid. Cons.... It is kind of hard to clean in a standard sink. Just like most amazing coolers it does air lock so we just had to open the lid a few times while we were using it to keep it flowing. But it's totally worth it! We can't wait to use it for tball games, camping, and more backyard parties!!

We have been taking this to practices and games for our three baseball players and it is so convenient! The rope handles are sturdy for carrying, I'm impressed with the overall quality in general. The ice retention is great for those hot game days, happy the kids will stay hydrated! My favorite part is the spout, easy for the players to help themselves to but can also be removed and replaced with a cap (purchased separately) to make it a stand alone cooler as well. Looking forward to taking this camping too!

We spend a lot of time outdoors camping and working on our land. This water cooler was perfect for keeping our water ICE COLD all day long while we worked on our land, even in the southern heat, so we all stayed hydrated through some tough work. The cooler was in the blazing sun all day long, and there was still a ton of ice in there at the end of the day! The handles made it convenient for even my son to help me carry. Loved the compact size of this cooler too- perfect for all of our outdoor adventures!

I've always been a fan of Lifetime products, and this new water cooler did not disappoint! High quality, like all their other products and just the right size. I was able to take this cooler on it's first test run recently on a day trip to the mountains and I was impressed with how well it insulated. It spent a good deal of the day in the back of my hot car, and it still held ice the next day! The rope handles are nice, but can make it a little challenging to carry with just one hand. Still a nice looking feature! Excited to use this even more over the coming months as the weather warms up! We spend a lot of time in the mountains and will put it to good use! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I won the opportunity to try out this product and was not sorry I did. This 5 gallon water cooler was an excellent little cooler. It has a great capacity to hold plenty of ice and water and stayed cold the entire time we used it at a baseball function. The handles were durable and made carrying the full cooler very easy. My son and his friends also stuck a few warm Gatorades in the cooler with the ice and water and they cooled down and were easy to acces from the cooler. The drinking water stayed cool and the ice lasted the entire tournament day, so the boys had access to water and could fill water bottles whenever they needed it. We also liked that you could use the stopper from other Lifetime cooler products to convert it into a smaller cooler and could see doing this when we go camping and don't need the water spiget feature. Overall, this Lifetime prodcuct did not disappoint and I could see many uses for our family over the years from sporting evetns, to family outings, and my son wants to take it on the job sites he works at in construction during the hot summer months and needs water.
