Importing documents performs poorly. I had to verify everything and manually enter information that should have been imported. Last year it missed something and the IRS caught it, increasing my return by nearly $3000.

Easy to install, easy to use, and easy to file. The only problem I had was entering a credit card expiration date - could not select the correct month. Had to use a different credit card with month less than "9"

I love Turbo Tax but this time, the download was a little squirrelly. Kept saying there was an error and kept opening to this error. Had to open each time by the file, rather than the icon.

The Turbotax experience continues to improve. The help files are getting better as well. I cannot say we are to the point that new users will feel as comfortable filing their taxes as some of those who have been around quite a while.

Several times TurboTax looped back to the ask the same questions (when entering 1099s (I think it was)) and the way forward was to drop out of the questions (like not answering). But then I found my data had been entered.

Been using Turbo Tax since the 1980s, I keep using it because it makes preparing the return pretty painless. Writing the IRS a check is a different story.

TurboTax did not catch that our dependent was receiving ACA health coverage, and so our initial return submittal was rejected. She will now have to file her own tax return.

Bought a rental property in January with related financing, then refinanced it in September 2025. The costs related to the closing documents were hard to put into TurboTax bacause the line descriptions didn't match,

1. I have hard time to make the payment. The credit card payment pop-up is very bad designed. 2. There is no summary for fed and state tax. 3. There are a lot of weird questions, not clear.

I've been using TurboTax as far back as I can remember (probably since the 1990s). My returns have always been accurate, and the software interface is user-friendly.
