I bought this to use for my seed starting in the spring. It has worked wonderfully. I can move the plants to sun, easily turn and rearrange the shelves. As the plants grew it was easy to reconfigure the shelf heights. When the plants are finally planted in the garden, this will transition to my craft space to house project materials. I am pleased with this shelf. I was able to set it up by myself in about 20 minutes time, and I am a female, 5’6”, in her 50s. The most challenging part was moving the boxed product from the front porch (it was delivered on time to my home) through the front door.

Sturdy shelving units that were easy to put together. Love that you can adjust the shelf heights. We purchased three for our garage. I love that they have wheels—makes them easy to move and clean behind. We saw them in store, but ordered online and had them delivered since they were heavy and we didn’t have a vehicle suitable for transport. Excellent buy!

I knew I could expect the high quality of the shelves, because I purchased them in the past. The added shelf covers where another improvement. The fact that I could have them delivered free to my residence also made me glad that I had Purchased an upgraded Membership. The delivered shelf boxes weighed almost 100 pounds each. Either you will need a dolly or a strong young body.

This set contains the racks, plastic inserts for the racks, and a choice of rollers or feet for the base, It is the best deal that I could find for this kind of wire rack. I actually did not need the high weight capacity of these racks but they were less expensive than buying lighter duty racks (+ rollers). These racks roll smoothly and are very stable. No issues in assembly.

You can go buy a plastic shelf at other stores for $49-$69 which can hold a couple hundred pounds. This thing can hold 800 pounds with the wheels installed or 6,000 pounds, that 3 TONS, without the wheels. I couldn't make a set of shelves out of wood, that could hold that much for under $100!

This shelving unit is excellent quality, very sturdy and rolls easily on smooth surface. As a tall senior female, I was able to assemble it by myself, altho' it would have been easier with 2 people. The plastic cuffs that hold the shelves kept popping off while sliding the shelves onto them, but I won, finally! I have been using it as a vertical sorting station as I reorganize rooms and closets. It will go in the garage eventually.

Prefer prior model with shiny chrome finish and no odor. Current model is a dull looking metal. Odor that lasts for days on shelving pieces and poles. We have yet to have the odor dissipate completely. Poles have what can only describe as old medicine odor on inside. Smelling that made our odor sensitive allergy member ill. Days waiting for it to go away. Sunlight, hot building, soap and water - inside and flushed inside of tubes ... goes down but won't go away. These aren't the racks I bought in the past, of which I have many. The shelves are heavy, the finish is dull, and they give off an odor that has yet to go away. Bought a shelf rack from another website. No odor out the box. Shiny chrome look like prior models of Member's Mark shelving. Replacement rack cost more, had one less shelf, and wider spaced wires on each shelf. Wires look a little thinner too. No odor and can use it right out the box. Done with Member's Mark shelving at this time. If you don't mind the odor, by all means, enjoy. For us, it's an allergy issue.

I bought two sets of these shelves from Sam's Club and I am very happy with them. I have purchased similar NSF rated shelf units from other suppliers several times in the past. Assembly method, quality and load capacity seem to be pretty much the same. The main benefit with the Member's Mark unit is that it comes with plastic shelf liners which make sliding boxes side-to-side on the shelves much easier. These liners would likely cost $25 to $50 if purchased separately, so having them including is a major plus which makes this purchase an excellent value!

I would recommend this product. The price is extremely reasonable, item easy to assemble with two people, sturdy and I really like that this item includes the shelf liners. You can set the distance between shelves to meet your needs. This is our second purchase for this product to store items in our basement. The first one has held up well and exceeded expectations.

I now have three of these shelving units. I bought two more after about 5 years of only having one. Best roll about shelving and a great price. I use them in the garage to store larger and heavier tools and other junk. I like the casters so I can clean out the leaves and other crap the blows in from outside.
