Shame on you imodium & every generic as well. You say we shouldn’t be having trouble opening the packages. You KNOW we are. I have to use a curved sharp grapefruit knife. The FDA just requires single dose packages. There are plenty of meds in blister packs that are openable. Yours are not in that category.

The packaging made it virtually impossible to extract a single pill. It was impossible to push the pill out of its container using my thumb. I had to get scissors and cut the pills out. Way too much work - and still had 2 of the pills land on the floor. I will not be buying this product, in this packaging, ever again. [And the pills themselves did little to help the diarrhea.]

it's Imodium, best med to take when you're peeing out of your butt. soft gel caps mean it'll digest fasr and help you get your crap together sooner. stick with the brand name as the knock off version requires industrial tools to get into the package and capsules

Is the packaging HARD to open? Yes. Is the product GREAT? Yes. So WHY is it hard to open? Because when people abuse the product and IGNORE the dosage instructions it is DANGEROUS ... OTC the MAXIMUM daily dose is 8MG (4 capsules or softgels) but too many customers think MORE IS BETTER (it is NOT) ... too much (that's ANYTHING over the recommended dosage) can cause SERIOUS heart problems. The USDA controls "packaging standards" ... it is REQUIRED that Imodium AD be HARD TO OPEN hoping to dissuade customers from "self-prescribing" overdoses. Now you KNOW WHY it's hard to open ... 'cause too many (one is too many) people abuse this wonderful product by ignoring the instructions.

Trying to open this is horrible. It's 10 times worse than trying to open dayquil. After 2 mins of trying to open 1 pack when I needed 2 for the first use, I went to the kitchen and used scissors. What if I'm at work with no scissors? Or driving? At someone elses house? "Can I borrow your scissors to open my diarrhea medicine?" Really??

The packaging doesn't allow easy access to the med. I have to cut the foil because the slit isn't cleanly cut into the foil. The product works well but so do others with easier access. It used to be sold in bottles. Bottles should still be an option.

I sent my daughter out to buy me some the night before I went to vegas. Well sure enough I got diarrhea away the casino. Was not able to open the dang things no matter how hard I tried! So they didn't do more much good! Would not recommend this product!

I use your product a lot unfortunately. It is the best anti diarrhea medicine I’ve found. However, it takes a stick of dynamite to get the darn pills out of the blister packaging. Almost impossible to do unless you have scissors to cut the package or a sharp instrument to pierce it. I don’t always have scissors on me. Please fix this or make an easier option for those of us who cannot manage the current packaging. FYI, I have no dexterity issues and am fairly strong. For this reason I gave you only 1 star. 5 stars for the medication and -4 for the packaging.

I use Imodium a lot. It always helps me. It takes forever to open the package. Why don’t you sell it in a bottle? I looked at past reviews and this has been a problem for your years and you don’t seem to listen to your customers. I might have to purchase a different brand that is easier to open.

What concerns the most is the lack of dosage and frequency of use on the container. If that information is on there the font is so tiny that even with reading glasses I could not see it. My wife got me a pack of Depends on Tuesday (18 in a pack) and she just went back to the store for another pack. Hereafter I'll never get sof-gels again I do trust the caplet to work in one dose. Packing is an important point that you must work on. Many elderly folks rely on this product (me included) for occasional use. Can I take to many? Can I take them too close together? I'm very disappointed.
