[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a vegetable garden and I want to refresh the soil around the tomato plants. I put it around the tomato plants water them and they are doing great. The bag is a mixer of mulch and soil. Which is ok with me. They both help the garden.

I bought many bags of garden soil this spring to fill a new 4'x4'x12" raised bed (I lost track of how many). The tomatoes are growing well, mostly. My problem is I just discovered a bunch of deadly amanita springing up under the tomatoes. I'm a Master Gardener, I know what they are. I have never seen them in any garden I have had. The Miracle-Gro soil is more mulch-like than ever before and I'm sure it is the source of this very bad fungus, which is not in any other raised bed, they were only amended with compost. Will the mycelium affect the tomato roots and therefore the tomatoes? (I can send pictures if you want.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good soil. I use this soil for raised beds or pots. Works great. Its always good quality where some other brands are mostly mulch or bark. Really works well in pots also because it lasts longer and doesn't wash away when watering.

I purchased four bags of Miracle-Gro all purpose garden soil to fill a raised vegetable garden and a flower garden surrounding a bronze statue. Never again. All four bags contained nothing but large sticks, chunks of wood and actual rocks. There was even a nail! This supposed garden soil is nothing but mulch and not even decent mulch!

It feeds up to 3-months I’ve been using Miracle grow for so many years and I my plants love the formulation with compost, processed forest products, peat moss, fertilizer and a wetting agent that releases in the soil.

I used this on many different varieties of plants directly in the ground. This is at my friends memorial site where there is alot of trees and it is by the road. The ground is very rooted and sand and dry. I planted my plants adding this to all of the holes along with covering my plants with it. It is easy to work with as it covers well. The plants love it with all the good nutrients and such in the soil. My plants are thriving now because of this soil! Defiantly recommend

I put this for my garden and already see a difference in the plant’s quality of life improving after a week. This is a great soul to use for your garden.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My bag of Miracle Grow soil was delivered in good condition. It was an easy to open bag. The contents of the bag was a rich loose soil that was moist and easy to scoop out. When I placed in the pot it was very easy to work with and had a very clean organic smell to it. I planted a small blooming plant in the soil and it is doing quite well. It seems the soil holds moisture very well in our hot Texas Summer conditions. I will use this soil for all of my potting needs.
