I've used Turbo Tax foe many years. This year I had trouble reviewing the things I inut into the program though when I went to forms I could find things. I will continue to use Turbo Tax though because, in the end, it is a program pretty easy to follow and use.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and appreciate this product for my federal return. However, I feel it the Wisconsin Tax Return could be improved. For example, this year there was a question about choosing between deducting state retirement benefits from income OR utilizing other deductions but no recommendation as to which choice would be better for our situation.

I have used TurboTax for many years. This year I found the sections dealing with Income, Interest and Dividends to be confusing - when you select to work on Dividends, i displays all the 1099-INT forms as well. Was confusing because I initially thought that I had inadvertently entered my 1099INTs as 1099DIVs, and started to delete them. Why have separate buttons for INT and DIV if they both go to the same place??? If I select to work on DIV, please only show 1099DIVs!

The dividends and interest sections are much more cumbersome than in prior years.I used to be able to click the dividends once, then I would stay in that section and add the number of payees. Now Its going back to the main screen for each one. The estimated tax calculation is clumsy.It would be nice if you could have the actual numbers from the current year listed in each category to help you estimate 2026

The interface and guidance were terrible this year, e.g. asking questions about 1099-R incomes that were never asked in previous years and no guidance as to what & why. I've used your product for many many years and loved it, bragged about it to others. I was so confused & frustrated with this year's version I may never use it again. Pity as you had such an excellent product. I cannot recommend it to others.

This year's tax return went easier than usual for me. The one thing I usually had an issue with seems to have been addressed in the guidance part of the software. It saved me a lot of time and worry finding the work around in the Community answer section. I had to double check I was actually done because it went so quickly.

When I transmitted my return, an error message showed up relative to form 5695. I had not checked the NO boxes for no Residential Energy Property Examples - Section B Line 21a and 21b but had entered an address. The software showed me the mistake and directed me to remove the address but it would not accept the deleted address (line 21c) and would not let me electronically file.

This year, I encountered a situation where my tax return was more substantial than usual. As a result, it became necessary for me to seek professional assistance for the first time. The product wasn't as user friendly as it had been. The hints were not as helpful as they have been in previous years. There was also a problem with importing information from my financial institutions, the application said it would delete previous imports when I had to reimport due to updates from my financial institution. However, there were duplicate copies of the documents after the imports. Also, there was a problem printing the Kentucky documents needed to paper file. The documents didn't fit on the 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper and I had to adjust the percentage to get it to print properly.

I have used turbo tax for many years so i am comfortable with the entries. I have not had good luck when calling turbo tax for how to enter something, so I no longer call i just try to figure this out myself. My taxes are no longer complicated, so it is pretty much the same each year.
