This past year my spouse passed away. He always did the taxes while I sat next to him. This time I had to do it alone. TurboTax walked me through it and also allowed me to go back to edit specific sections.

Federal product was mediocre, much the same as last year. State product (New Mexico) was abysmal. Very little information appears to flow from Fed to State return and there's virtually no help at all in State product.

I have used Turbotax for many years for filing business, rental properties, partnerships, installment loans to just a simple return. I will continue to use Turbotax.

Errors in the program. For Medical expenses, I had to go back and enter 0s instead of leaving blanks. Also the 1099-int, Div, and R section is a LOT worse than it was in pervious years.

You scammed me! You made it look like it was mandatory to pay $40 from federal refund vice paying $25 to state to efile. Way too make more money off of us. I'm furious! I'm only giving you a one star because that is the least.

I rated Turbo Tax Excellent since it made it easy for me to file. I like to learn about the tax filing as I go through each topic and it is explained very well. Step by step instruction keeps it simple and easy to use.

have a one year spike in income. turbutax assumes this'll be the norm and is recommending estimated tax payments for amounts that exceed what I owed in taxe

I did hear some controversy regarding privacy leaks with Turbo Tax- thankfully I wasnt one as I never got a notice- I have been using TT for years and appreciate its reliability so... please keep it safe !!

I had a lot of trouble with the install and the software made it difficult to find and put in the information , I seem to have more trouble the more you change the software. I am not sure that I will ever buy turbo tax again

I am sure that Turbo miscalculated taxable income, because it treated a 1099-R as non-taxable. I couldn't override it to make it taxable! This is a known glitch and it's because Turbo uses it's own flawed worksheet to make this determination.
