(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We’ve been really happy with this fridge overall. The craft ice feature is a standout - it’s perfect for drinks and adds a nice touch when hosting. The exterior water dispenser is convenient and easy to use, and we love the window door feature for quickly checking what’s inside without letting all the cold air out. Another big plus is the amount of interior space - it’s well laid out and holds a lot, which makes organizing groceries much easier. That said, there are a couple of small drawbacks. The door sensor beeps nonstop when the door is open for more than about 45 seconds, which is quite bothersome when loading groceries. It would be great if there was an option to mute it without completely turning it off. Also, the water dispenser only provides tap-cold water. It would be nice if it was colder. Overall it’s a great fridge with some really thoughtful features. Just a few minor improvements would make it even better.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We are in love with our fridge! We are getting ready to have our basement built and needed a fridge down there. The day after this arrived, our main fridge upstairs stopped working! This ended up being a little small but after using this one we decided to buy another LG fridge upstairs as well! It makes crushed and cubed ice, also makes craft ice that lasts much longer in your glass. The front doors open French style up top with a tap on glass lighting display to see what’s in the fridge and very convenient to see in. The fridge is wi-fi enabled and lets us know anything going on with the fridge such as leaving the doors open too long, if the ice hasn’t been used or water so that we can clean the lines. Everything fits in perfectly!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This fridge is great! I know… it’s a fridge, how exciting can it be? Everyone in the house loves the glass door for easy access, and the ice makers, both in door and the craft ice. I like the ability to see the air/water filter health in the lg app and it has plenty of room to keep everything cool and organized. My only “issue” is I wish it didn’t take almost 24 hours for 6 craft ice balls, but that has zero impact on my rating as it’s a tiny complaint. I was also shocked that magnets work on the door, I like that and all previous stainless fridges I had the doors couldn’t use magnets. Highly recommend, not my first lg fridge so hopefully it’s as reliable as the one I had years ago.

Great refrigerator overall, though the black glass panel shows more fingerprints than the stainless door side does. Handles would be a welcome addition, as reaching for the top or bottom of doors is still mildly annoying. Also vegetable drawers pull from the bottom of the drawers, not the top edge, which is weird. Lighting in the back, as some models do have, would be appreciated. Not sure why a larger width, similar style and feature unit costs $800 less. Why the substantial penalty for a similar model with the smaller width? Ice/water selector is a bit weird and seems like a component that won't function well over time. Otherwise, it's a decent unit - so far.

The LG fridge is sleek and modern. It matches with the design of my kitchen. I like the Instaview door and the water and ice dispenser by the door. I'm just hoping that this fridge would last longer than my Samsung fridge. I'm expecting it to last more than 10 years without any problems.

I love the door-in-door feature. I wish I could have found it in a larger capacity refrigerator, or in a side-by-side style. For me, an annoying drawback of this fridge is the left side door slamming shut because it is heavy from the ice maker being embedded in it. Also, the water and ice dispenser works in an odd way to change functions, and it sweats a lot. I can feel the cold air coming out, and it causes condensation. I'm not a huge fan of the pull-out freezer because it tends to become disorganized since it is basically a truck rather than shelving.

The Craft Ice maker was not working. We are waiting on a replacement.

Shelving and storage bins are very cheaply made. The crisper bins and Glide N' Serve drawer do not close evenly; there are gaps between the bins and the assembly. The glass shelves have no support at the front interior corners; if you put something heavy on a shelf near the front, the shelf will eventually pull out from the back and fall off. No folding shelves, although they were in the description. Freezer drawers are also cheaply manufactured plastic that does not glide smoothly. No configuration possible of freezer bin. Loved my last LG, this is quite a down-grade in quality.
