It detects almost everything in our yard. It's really nice because you can adjust the sensitivity. The cameras can link so you can get multiple views.

I have it up on the side of the wall by my front door. It can pan up and down and spin side to side to cover pretty much most of my home. I love that it can detect when people, packages, objects and movement is around and even has a light when dark. Using it with the app is a seamless and very enjoyable experience.

(All of our Arlo cameras have been outside for years and no issues- great weather resistance!) Let me say that this new version makes me want to replace every single one with an upgraded 360 pan/tilt!! Wow- I was floored after it began following me around the patio for the first time- I thought my husband was controlling the app, but nope! It’s 100% Automatic and follows motion all by itself!! Incredible. Setup was very easy- and you’re able to set a “home” position as well in case you don’t get the positioning right on install. I believe there is only a wired version- because it might drain a wireless battery quickly- but I love the fact that we’ll never have to worry about changing this camera battery! We’ve never had issues with the Arlo system either, and I suggest if you ever have connection issues- it may be too far from a WiFi router- not an actual camera/system issue. (We had a competitor doorbell for years and Arlo is significantly better so we switched several years ago). This is a perfect camera for a patio or backyard that may extend past the view of a 180 degree fixed camera. Non-stop power for a security camera like this is a no-brainer deal! Buy it if you have a spot near an outlet! (The cord length is also very generous)

The 2K video resolution is sharp and clear, both during the day and at night. Night vision works well, and the pan and tilt feature allows you to cover a wide area, which is very convenient for outdoor monitoring. The installation itself is simple, and the camera looks modern and well made. Motion alerts are accurate, and the camera tracks movement smoothly. However, the biggest downside for me is the Arlo app subscription. Without a paid plan, many key features are limited, and it's almost impossible to fully use the camera as intended. I don't like that the product depends so heavily on a monthly subscription, especially after paying for the cameras themselves. Overall, great camera quality and performance, but the required paid app subscription is a significant drawback.

High quality camera with advanced features... for an insanely low price all things considered. Quality materials, fantastic real 2K camera image quality and awesome motion tracking (the camera moves when motion is detected). Simple app, clear pricing. Really the only issue was lack of written installation instructions. Took me a few minutes to realize they were hidden in the app

I’d like it for our garage but you’d need a really long cord to plug it in. Nice and easy to mount and good video quality for day and night. Like the motion detection and tilt features and AI integration.

This is an outdoor camera but it has to be plugged into an outlet. That severely limits the placement of the cameras.

It worked great until it just didn’t. Before buying, try calling customer service. There’s no number. I had to buy a whole new system.
