[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really happy with this raised bed soil. It was light, easy to spread, and didn't feel overly compacted like some bagged soils do. There were a few small wood pieces, but nothing that caused problems. My veggies and herbs have been growing great so far and the soil holds moisture nicely. I'd definitely buy this again for future raised beds.

I know it's geared for raised beds, but I love my plants and I want to save it. Plus I've used Back To The Roots on several projects of many different types of products and they ALWAYS WORK. I was surprised to see how big the bag really was! I like that this soil holds more moisture than other ones that I've used previously. I will say I've had a giggle from all the mini mushrooms popping up since planting my apple seeds. I will definitely be getting this in the future

When open small part, I felt dirt it was well moist. I scoop the dirt and put it in plant pot. If my plant can talk it said "Thank you".

The texture is loose and easy to work with, and it blends nicely into existing soil without feeling overly heavy or compacted. I appreciate that it's organic and already mixed with plant food and dolomitic limestone — it saves an extra step and gives plants a solid start. My vegetables and flowers transplanted well, and I noticed good early growth and strong color within the first couple of weeks.
