Mixed with our existing soil, perlite and compost as the bed we were topping off was larger than the bag size given up review and this bed is housing veggies that needed a chunkier soil. Soil was pest free, absorbed water easily and drains quite well. No wet feet for our plants.

The package is big, so it can be used in different plants, I’ve been using a lot and I still have it, so it’s totally worth it to buy it! The quality of the soil looks great, it keeps moisture, it’s not dry at all! I’m very glad with the product and I’m excited to see my plants growing! I’ll keep buying Back to Roots premium soil and I highly recommend it!

I mixed the existing soil with the new blend, which created the improved soil texture i was aiming for. So far, the soil has maintained consistent moisture, is draining properly, and the saplings appear to be in excellent condition.

I have used it in everything from large outdoor planters to small seed starting projects, and it performs consistently well across the board. The soil itself feels high quality. It is easy to work with, making it simple to scoop and spread as needed. The potting soil's texture strikes a great balance. It is light enough to promote healthy root growth and proper aeration, yet is substantial enough to retain moisture without becoming soggy. The soil drains well, holds moisture just long enough, and creates an ideal environment for both established plants and delicate seedlings. My plants seem to love it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff smells amazing! Smells like dirt. It's been sitting open in the bag and as I mix it around it has fungus growing in there: the good kind!! It's a good size for a small garden/ hole. I'm going to soak it in duck poop water!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the back to roots raised bed mix for my new flower boxes by my front door. Soil has a great texture for maximum drainage. The soil is a good mix and had very little clumping coming out of the bag. Bag size was is great and fits in my car and moving it near my grow boxes thru out the yard and decks! Fantastic product.
