If you like the taste of the Talenti pistachio gelato, this you will like. The flavor is great and tastes exactly alike even in texture minus real pistachio pieces. With that said, the kataifi is not noticeable. I see specs in the mixture but the texture and taste is not there when the mochi if taken out of the freezer and bitten into immediately. I may have to allow it to thaw out a little and may see more kataifi flavor. The texture of the chocolate mochi will not be for everyone. It's made from a rice mixture. I personally like it. If it thaws out, it's more malleable to bite into. If it's bitten into immediately out of the freezer, it is a little harder but not rock hard. With this said, I also noticed the lack of chocolate flavor. It's a little bland but mixes well with the pistachio flavor. Overall, I would rate this a 4.5 only as the kataifi was not noticeable in flavor or much in texture. I can see where “style” was added, but honestly, I would say more “inspired” than a true Dubai chocolate dessert.

What a waste of money! I hate to say these things but in my opinion these are the worst “ice cream” product I have ever had. The “ice cream” was not creamy at all and if it does contain nuts, what was the stuff in it? The “dough” that it was wrapped in was slimy and gummy with absolutely no taste! It was disgusting!

i read reviews and heres the thing. 1. mochi is doughy. the chocolate flavor was mild but great. 2. its also a little pricey, so this is a deal comparatively. the ice cream in middle was great. im gonna have to get more before they never have them again.

Reading some of these reviews makes me laugh, if your not a fan of mochi don't try it, describing as “doughy” lol it's mochi!!! Any way! Delicious! I loved it and want more!

Delicious! The pistachio ice cream is so good quality and so yummy. I've never cared for mochi before trying this brand and THIS flavor. I have bought a box for me and the fam each trip to Sam's. 10/10 i recommend if you like pistachio/dubai chocolate. Give the mochi a try!

5/5 — Dubai-Style Chocolate Mochi Is My New Obsession I just tried the Dubai-style chocolate mochi ice cream for the first time, and I'm honestly obsessed. The outside has that perfect soft, chewy mochi texture, but the flavor is richer and more decadent than a mochi I've had before. The chocolate filling is unbelievably smooth — almost like a truffle tucked inside a cloud.

Ingredients scream mass-market cost optimization. Bottom line This is dessert cosplay. Not poison. Not health food. Acceptable as an occasional treat if you know what you're eating. If consumed regularly, it trains your palate toward sweetness, softness, and artificial flavor dependency. If you want real pistachio dessert, this isn't it.

I was anxious to taste a sorta Dubai chocolate? Delivered defrosted and mushy. No chocolate covering, rather white thin skin, mushy with almond flavored center and tiny waxy chips. Not a fan .Asked for a refind because of delivery state wont buy again

You have to try this product! Loved the flavor and the crunchy inclusions. Also what a great price! Everything Dubai Chocolate I am seeing in the marketplace is incredibly expensive but not this item. 12 servings for under $8.00. I'm definitely heading back to my SAMs Club to stock up for the holidays!

These are terrible. They taste nothing like pistachio. They taste like almond flavoring or amaretto. The chocolate chips inside are rock solid and waxy. The outer covering doesn't taste like chocolate at all. Don't waste your money or freezer space and that's coming from someone who enjoys other flavors of this product.
