I had to call twice because of the lousy interface with my iOS platform MacBook Pro. The first time was because the tax return I worked on for more than 4 hours completely disappeared after your platform crashed on my TWICE! Fortunately, my MacBook Pro saved a copy. The recovery was so difficult your very pleasant tech had trouble helping me. Ultimately, between, her, me and ChatGPT we were able to obtain it and get it to load back into TurboTax, Your screen does not fully show on my computer making so that I could not hit the "next" or "continue" buttons. Also...it is VERY difficult to find what I needed to do an amendment for a previous year's taxes. Your Youtube video was NOT accurate resulting in my 2nd call to your support folk. The person I got the second time was LESS INFORMED than I was and also very crabby with me. This has truly been the WORST experience I have had working with TurboTax.

I had a problem in completing 8382 form- donatation form, Next I could not process the efile as it a minor question to answer and I don't know what was your question, Next I tried to call a TurboTax site near my home, I tried three times, each time it said call back if you need help. I have been using Turbo tax form for over 15 years, I had no trouble before. You need to go back what was done for 2024 tax return especially with the non monetary donation valuation. All those supportd were miss ing.

TurboTax now makes it more difficult to toggle between EasyStep and Forms format. In addition, for the second year in a row, TurboTax fails to furnish information about how to obtain an IRS-generated PIN and where to insert that PIN in the tax return. Both of these failures consumed several unnecessary hours of my time.

I have thought Turbo Tax was a great way to do your taxes in the past. This year I've had more challenges. They took away the It's Deductible feature for non cash charitable contributions, that I used and liked. It was an easy way to value donations. I had to go to the forms feature more to make some changes and modifications. Also, in trying to amend last years tax return, I unfortunately had to amend twice and I had real difficulties in getting the software to do what I wanted. Luckily, AI was very helpful for me in this area.

Needs more explanation about what other aspects of your return may be affected if you opt to do something. Also needs better navigation within the app for those of us that jump around a bit. You currently have to go through so many screens to get to where you are trying to go. That feels clunky and antiquated.

Box 14 details, need better guidance on categorizing them as some of the changes affect federal tax due in 2025 compared to 2024 Turbotax software. Also, imported W-2 does not get categorized correctly or throws error. Still struggling how to categorize those RSU codes. Also, paid $60 for advice last year (2024) during download but never used the support. Is there way to get a credit or apply towards future return.

It gets the job done, but the interface is wonky: 1) The AI assistant did not work at all. I couldn't type anything. 2) The search feature is AWFUL, you can't even search on a page of text. 3) What should be local and on my desktop machine requires web login. That's horrible.

TurboTax seems to be slowly getting better over the years. It is somewhat straightforward and user friendly, but I did find myself not knowing what to input for accountant type questions. TurboTax could have more examples with industry related topics would be great. Maybe they'll get there eventually. Overall, it's still convenient to use, plus prices are still about the same over the years. Also, with AI now, I can figure out HOW to input my taxes. Not sure if what I imputed are all correct, but fingers crossed I guess.

I have been using Turbo Tax for decades and have always relied on it for great information not only with regards to tax changes, but also just giving me extra information with the helpful question mark next to everything. This year I felt like there were gaps or missing pieces of that extra information. I use TT rather than using an outside person because I want to continue to be knowledgeable about what I am being taxed on, how it impacts our life, and potential topics that I could utilize to be more efficient with our money. I was disappointed that with all of the changes, a simple link here and there wasn't provided to either the IRS.gov publication, or more information on things such as the Big Beautiful Bill. TT was flawless in its tech and usage. Each page/topic flowed into the next, however somehow it skipped over the Federal Review and I had to go back to it manually. Overall still a fan. Just don't take away the education pieces

the who;le on line vs desktop was very confusing I dont know whats where. wanted to pay before I did a tax return and getting there was very cponfusing. when I tried to find ALL forms it was hard to do. Didnt like all the sellinf in app just wanted to file return
