We only had this trash can for a day when the "automatic" top stopped working!!! Then all of a sudden it started working again! Then it stopped again. It's haunted. We will be returning this soon, and just getting a trashcan to step on to open it. Bummed it's not reliable.

Good value considering that the regular waste bin with push by foot for lid to rise was almost the same price. On a side note the 3yr old and 1 year old grandchildren love activating the lid. I was actually replacing the container that was foot pedal mechanically operated because it broke. Now I will only have to replace the batteries… hopefully not too often with the kids playing with it!

I didn't expect to have strong feelings about a trash can, but this one genuinely impressed me. Tired of my old step lift trash can migrating into the cabinet and not being to open because apparently my kids are very busy and need to throw trash away fast or not at all, this appeared to be a solution. My can doesn’t move anymore! Additionally, it looks really good. It’s kinda fun like Chik-fil-a trash compactor cans. The old, regular size Sam’s bag fits it. And it’s technology is nice: hold open feature, count down to close on quick dumps and for extended dumping it can see you and wait til you leave. If this holds up well, it will be my Christmas to myself present of the year.

Takes a bit to get used to but it works very well. Just don't try to overfill it because it doesn't like it and will open and close until you fix the problem. Much slimmer than our previous one and can sit closer to the wall without getting stuck open.

The design of this trash can is a bit inconvenient because you have to remove the entire top lid every time you need to change the bag. Other than that, the sensor works well and the stainless steel finish looks great in my kitchen.

Works great and is very responsive when you wave hand. I like that I can remove the inside liner for easy of adding a bag or moving around to add things.

Love it! Makes cooking and clean up easy with the motion sensor. I’ll probably spend more on batteries depending on the battery usage, but I’ll have to wait to see how long that takes. Otherwise I love the no touch aspect while cooking and cleaning
