While the trash can functioned okay, the lid is so flimsy and light weight that it didn't close properly, and I was concerned about it's longevity. It was returned without an issue. Gotta love Sam's for returns.

Nice quality automatic garbage can. I like the removable can allows you to secure a regular kitchen size garbage bag in there. Operation is easy open and close buttons are just sensitive enough without accidentally opening or closing.

Great trash can. It uses standard 14 gallon bags and 4 AA Batteries. The lid opens and closes very quietly and looks great in my kitchen. The inner can pulls out for easy cleaning and the lid can be easily wiped down with a Clorox wipe.

Product works very well. But make sure the location of the can is not near a high traffic area because every time you pass it it will open way too many times a day making the room smell of garage all the time

Took a while to learn not to use a foot step to open the trash can up. The good: - motion sensor - open and close button - off switch in back of the lid - large opening ( 14inch across) for the large trash can - easy container removal for bag removal - non skid base - closes soft - due to policy it can be returned or replaced anytime The not so good: - the lid will open when you walk by

Considering the price of a trash can now, this one was a good price. I bought it when it was on sale and it looks very nice in our kitchen. Solid construction, quiet use, and the battery seems to be lasting longer than my previous one. Love that the power button is on the outside so I can turn it off before changing the bag and the lid doesn't flop open and closed.

Exceeded expectations , I have finally upgraded my old manual trashcan to this one. I love the fact that it’s touch less and matches my appliances in the kitchen . I do have to empty the trashcan almost daily as the inside portion is much slimmer than what we are used to

The trashcan is well built and has a sturdy plastic liner that makes removing and installing the bags easy. It also eliminates any potential drips on the floor. Our only problem is the motion sensor has too long range. We have the trashcan positioned in an under counter opening and the sensor causes the door to open because it says the countertop above. I will try to put some transparent tape or perhaps two layers over the sensor to see if I can reduce its range and thus allow proper function under the cabinet.

Tired of my old step lift trash can migrating into the cabinet and not being to open because apparently my kids are very busy and need to throw trash away fast or not at all, this appeared to be a solution. My can doesn’t move anymore! Additionally, it looks really good. It’s kinda fun like Chik-fil-a trash compactor cans. The old, regular size Sam’s bag fits it. And it’s technology is nice: hold open feature, count down to close on quick dumps and for extended dumping it can see you and wait til you leave. If this holds up well, it will be my Christmas to myself present of the year.
