I got this product hoping that my one daughter who needs more protein would drink it everyday. My daughter has tried other vanilla shakes and she has not liked them. I was happy to finally have found her one that she will drink everyday. Some days she drinks it plain and somedays she does add a little chocolate syrup to it to give it a different taste.

The ultra filtered milk shake takes like liquid ice cream. It is about the same consistency as milk, but with a sweeter taste. Served chilled it makes as a nice substitute to a shake. The wrapper was a little hard to open, but didn't effect the product.

The Member's Mark Ultra-Filtered Milk Shake is impressive with 30g of Protein, 150 calories, 3 carbs and no added sugar. The 2g of sugar comes just from the milk. Being a high school wrestler, my son needed a way to increase his protein in an easy to take along way. His first reaction was that the flavor is good, but it's way too sweet. My daughter said it tastes a lot like melted ice cream. I thought I'd try it another way as my kiddos like smoothies. I blended it with frozen strawberries. I didn't need to add anything else and it hit the spot. While drinking the Member's Mark Ultra-Filtered Milk Shake on Vanilla didn't work for us, it's still a good addition to our pantry to get extra protein without too much sugar when I make smoothies.

Tried the member's mark vanilla protein milkshake, it's not bad. I'm more of a fan of the Fairlife brand and love that Sam's Club carries them but this is another lower price option. There is a bit of plastic-y taste but better tasting IMO than Premier brand. I like that it has low sugar. The consistency is very liquid (no carageenan) and i tried to freeze it a bit to try in a smoothie and it doesn't freeze. Mixed it with strong coffee and it made a decent vanilla iced latte. Definitely worth a try and with the increasing cost of the fair life in premier shakes, this is a worthwhile option to consider.

Here's my vanilla shake review. I would rate them okay to not great. I wouldn't buy them. They have a faint  vanilla taste that doesn't taste natural and a slight aftertaste. Premier protein is a lot better and I would pay more for them. I do like the 30 grams of protein they provide.

The milkshake flavored vanilla drink taste like a vanilla shake. It has a creamy texture. The bottle was a little difficult to open with the plastic wrapping. The taste was like drinking a vanilla shake but there was a slight after taste. The taste was not a bad taste but it was noticeable. The 30g of protein was enough to whet my appetite between breakfast and lunch. I recommend drinking it cold.

I really liked the shelf life of this product and the fact it could be stored in the pantry before consuming it. Although that was a perk for me storage wise, the taste of the product was something we preferred chilled, or really cold. It definitely had a taste unlike other similar products we've tried. I was satisfied with the price and the taste.
