Very happy with the quality of this gazebo. All wood and metal was in good shape. No dents, knots, or dings. Purchased in store. Comes in two boxes. Instructions are very clear except for screwing the roof panels and trim. Other then that it was very easy to follow. Complete setup took about 2 days. You'll need 3 people to help put the roof on. Beautiful gazebo

This thing is beautiful. It’s big enough for my Traeger and my Blackstone. Nice to have them covered on rainy days while I’m cooking. It is a beast to assemble! I did the majority of it on my own. I had to get help to put the roof on! It says three people can do it but I would recommend 5. It’s not that it’s super heavy, just large and has to be lifted. Once assembled, you will love it!!

Love this Gazebo! I have looked at this for a couple of summers in Sam’s Club for our top deck. I finally decided to buy, since they have the best price on this. Husband & I built this in one weekend on the top deck. The roof was the tricky part because you build the roof & put it on at one time. We barely had enough room to build it on the deck & took a lot of thinking & maneuvering, but we got it. The quality of the deck is amazing!

My daughter and I built the frame. I built the rest. I did have to get some strong guys to lift it on the frame and I finished it myself. I'm 66 years old and it looks great. Instructions were easy to follow. The parts were all labeled. Including the hardware. They even supplied some tools. I would buy more projects from this company. It's strong and heavy I don't think wind will be any problem.

My wife and I was able to put this together in about 7 hrs. That's included taking breaks and lunch. The directions are step by step and very simple. Please don't be afraid to tackle this project! I bought this one and the 12×14 at the same time. That one took 2-3 because of the rain!

I was very impressed with the quality of the material for the frame of the unit. The only area where I felt the quality decreased was in the roof. It seemed scratch very easily. The part of the directions which I did find somewhat difficult was the assembling of the metal roof. And the only other problem I had was the fact that the roof was to be assembled and then lifted on, which is not something one person or two people could do. I needed to get a group of people to lift the roof up and place on top. Now that it’s been up for a couple days and I have it anchored I like the way it looks and the function of it is working perfectly.

Nice gazebo, takes some time to put together and you will need 3 people to lift roof on. Wood post split when attaching anchor hardware. Really only issue I had.

So the build of the gazebo went well until the instructions for the attachment of the metal roofing. From that point on everything was off, the roof framing was checked for squareness, which it was the roof metal attachment. Instructions were followed, using the quarter inch reveal on the left side. When the metal roofing got to the right side, there was a 3 inch gap to the edge of the framing had to adjust the metal roofing by taking the measurement from one side and dividing it and a half, so that I could get the metal roofing centered up on the framing, and then put the drip edges on. Other than that, the gazebo went together as the instructions stated and appears to be very sturdy.

Excellent materials used for the gazebo and expect many years of use. However, assembly instructions (initially missing from kit but quickly provided by Backyard Discovery) were extremely poor - part numbers for each step are shown but few descriptions as to how actual construction should be done. Plenty of hardware included but 2 boards missing for last step of roof assembly - didn't have time to wait for BD to ship parts, so purchased 1"x4"x12' cedar board at local DIY company and made it work). Even with lots of previous "some assembly required" experience, construction was definitely NOT "easy" as stated in on-line product description due to the lack of detailed instructions - too much time spent trying to interpret what the diagram was trying to show and actual actions needed. No mention on-line or in instruction manual in last step that manufacturer recommends that gazebo be attached to concrete slab or wooden deck that can handle the 410-lb weight of structure. Also, no mention in on-line description that roof assembly must be done on flat ground and that 3+ tall and strong people are then needed to raise the 150-180 lb roof onto frame assembly. It seems that with a few tweaks to the instructions, the roof assembly could be built on top of the frame assembly in a more traditional way of roofing a structure; had to hire 3 people to get the roof up onto the frame. As previously mentioned, expect many years of use from this gazebo and looking forward to getting started doing so.

The grill gazebo itself is a solid product, given the low cost. It’s stable and looks good but they claim it withstands 100mph winds. Problem with that is the cheap concrete anchors they provide - you need 16 total to anchor it to concrete and the first 4 I tried all sheared off. Cheap TEMU Tapcon knockoffs. I’ve used closed to a thousand Tapcons over the past decade building many structures and broke maybe a dozen. Simple process: drill perpendicular to the surface, vacuum out the hole, and drive evenly. The gazebo is good, the anchors are terrible. Do yourself a favor and buy legit anchors so you don’t have to move the gazebo and patch like I did!
