Great Solid Unit- it looks great and will last a very long time.

This is so awesome for our backyard! It went together pretty easy and was able get it all put together with just 3 people. Quality seems to be all over with this pergola. We have enjoyed the look and functionality of very much.

Yes it will come with warped wood, yes it’s very heavy to move, and yes it comes with paper instructions. It took me 6 hours to put together myself. It’s amazing when finished.

Too many pieces of 1 number not enough of others. Had to reposition holes. Had to improvise to build. Wood was twisted and warped. Tried to send pics but like set up was not possible

This gazebo is amazing..

Most painful warranty process ever. When we assembled the product, we found that the metal sheets for the roof were slightly rusted. I reached out to Backyard Discovery and what should have been an easy email process turned into a very long-winded email conversation. Every time an email gets sent, a different customer service rep responds. They ask for the same information that prior reps requested so the process is never completed. Send photos of the damage, send name and address, send items that need to be replaced, send proof of purchase. Then they said to resend the pics as they did not receive them. Another email to please send the address where to send the replacements. Another email to ask for proof of purchase. Over and over and over again.

We purchased this gazebo about two weeks ago, I’m very pleased with it. Installation was easy until we had to construct the roof. I think after framing the roof, the instruction should have you install that portion of the roof before you put on the roof panel, because it's so much added weight. I had to call a friend to help, because the roof was so heavy, and my small frame wife was no help. Anyway, we got the roof in position, and everything lined up perfectly.

This is my second Gazebo from BYD and couldn't be happier. This one covers my outdoor kitchen and, just like the one I have covering my hottub- its rock solid, real cedar, and easy to assemble. I live in the PNW and having cover- that will not rot and stay beautiful- is essential.

This gazebo is worth every penny! It was well made, all the holes were drilled currently for easy assembly, and all the items were included. Directions said it would take 3 people 5 hours and they were almost exact. You will need that third person for some of the steps.

I helped my son assemble his and loved this product, so I bought one for myself. The delivery company delivered two boxes but one of them was not mine or the correct item. I couldn't make contact with the delivery company to correct the order, so I contacted the Backyard Discovery customer service, they were very responsive and immediately contacted their shipping dept which contacted the delivery company the truck returned and picked up the incorrect box but my box was not on the truck. They did deliver it the next day though. I am very impressed with the efforts of the C.S. rep. and the follow up phone calls ensuring i was kept informed and satisfied. I will definitely use this company again. The kit was in good condition, well packaged, and the assembly instructions were very clear and easy to follow. the hardware and included tools made the task a breeze. I only needed help raising the roof into position.
