[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this because we need to get my husbands smoker off the main deck and this design was what we were looking for. It looks great at the end of our pool and the color matches our deck color perfectly. It was just my husband and me assembling it and it took the two of us 3 days, during the hot summer days of July. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Just lay out all of your parts/pieces in number order and the process is faster. We made a few changes to ours by moving one of the end tables to the front and adding some additional wood siding for privacy. It's a very sturdy gazebo and definitely worth the investment.

Nice-sized grill gazebo for our new grill and small smoker. Assembly was relatively straight-forward with 2 people, and took most of the day. They did a great job putting this kit together so the pieces fit and made assembly easy. We did put a clear polyurethane on all the cedar pieces before assembling, to preserve the color and make it last longer... if there is a stain on it, you can't tell as the wood is very thirsty for more. Very pleased with the hardware, and the fact it came with a couple spares. The roof is okay... I wish it extended out further on the sides to protect the counters/tables, further out the back, and wish it had a greater slope for shedding rain and snow. We may eventually end up altering the roof ourselves. Overall, I'm happy with it. It looks great on our patio and will be very usable in nice weather.

We bought this gazebo for a commercial project at our business. We recently installed two e-bike chargers at our Bike Shop Cafe and needed a cover to keep the heavy weather off them. It was a great size that fit perfectly in the space and was easily constructed.

I purchased this gazebo to add necessary shaded area in my backyard. I had my handyman put it together; he thought it was well made. I'm happy with the quality and all pieces, bolts, etc were included. I wished the back opening was more private so we added cedar boards/slats & it worked out great! Would recommend this gazebo to others looking for a quality product.

LOVE IT! I have a small 40x100 backyard on Long Island. I was looking to put up a privacy fence along my driveway that runs to the back of my yard because we are very (too) close to our neighbors where our patio table and sectional are. OMG the price of a 2 section wood fence and install was quoted at almost the same price as this gazebo. So we bought this instead and nailed 5/4x6” cedar decking to the back to enclose it. I am beyond excited about how it turned out and it gave us way more privacy than any fence and umbrella could. BUY IT! You wont regret it!

This turned out great but I did have a few issues building that I should mention to the next guy. The pilot holes all lined up and keeping this square was easy but the pilot holes weren’t properly drilled all the way through the wood so sometimes the breakout on the backside of the hole needed persuasion. I guess if you cleaned all the holes to start with it would solve that problem but add time to the project. It would be really cool if the hardware were pre kitted per step instead of by hardware type. That would cut assembly time in half. The last issue is that the roof sheet metal was not cut square. If you know, you know. All in all, good quality but not great.

Backyard Discovery includes superior quality components with good fit-and-finish. Saxony XL Grill Gazebo is a good size for our patio. Full sized gazebos are too large and other brand grill gazebos, too small. Also, cheaper gazebos from some other brands have parts that appear inferior in quality - a few extra bucks spent here was well worth it. Flipped one countertop to the inside to better suit our needs. Added LED lights under the roof and finished it in an Olympic stain to preserve the wood and it looks great!

So happy with the grill gazebo! My husband added motion lights and even a gutter on it to make it perfect for our yard! He even added lights pointing down at the grill so I can cook at night! The gazebo is perfect to house our grill, and I am looking forward to being able to cook outside for our friends and family! Thank you so much for this gazebo, it is the perfect size! I looked everywhere for one that worked and was thrilled when I finally found this one!

We bought this over the summer and built it after the concrete slab was poured. Super quality. We are 68 and 75 and only needed help lifting the roof on. We sealed all the wood before construction and plan to reseal every year. I would not hesitate to buy - what a great addition to our home.

What's not to like? Little bit of assembly required with your son and buddies.. What are the rewards? Quality time outdoors spent with family and friends for Years to come! Quality of product? I couldn't have made one any better myself.. Any Problems? Not a single complaint What a beautiful addition to my backyard and will be purchasing more from this company.
