[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m always looking for oil olive. Every month I’m buying it. It’s a staple in my house. Being Italian I’m always frying meatballs, eggplant and chicken cutlets. I’ve tried a lot of oils. Being it’s extra light I was worried it would have a funny taste and not cook correctly for my needs. But wow I can’t believe my kids and boyfriend didn’t notice the difference and we were able to save calories at the same time. Any time I can swap in healthier options it’s a win. And this product is a huge win since I’m always cooking with oil. It doesn’t burn and can handle the heat. It truly reminds me of when I was growing up the oil Olive in the big cans/tins that you would have to poke holes in from Italy. It has an authentic taste that reminds me of being a kid and I love the fact I can now share that with my kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oil is lovely to cook with. It is very light in the taste and does not overpower the meal like some oils might do in the foods. I actually think this would be a great oil to use when making salad dressings. My olive oil was not thick, which I like, but be careful when pouring so you don’t go over board and pour too much if you are not using messing devices. Definitely a light and refreshing olive oils compared to some others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oil has basically zero taste. This makes it a 5 star oil for baking because it gives no taste to the product. I don’t enjoy it as much for cooking, as I do enjoy the taste of extra virgin olive oil and prefer something more nutritious, flavorful, and less refined. Having lived in Italy for several years, I’m quite familiar with olive oils. Just a preference, but I really love the strong peppery and fruity oils, and would have a hard time buying an oil so refined and tasteless, even for baking.

I also like to use this brand to make my salad dressing. I also use it for my hair which it makes it soft.
