We bought 2 of these chairs for the beach. They are extremely hard to collapse. Tried to use them several times thinking it would get easier...it didn't. They are going in the garbage.

These chairs are not good in sand. Took to beach and could not collapse chairs when it was time to leave. Spent over 30 minutes trying to collapse. Finally collapse once sand was bang off. And, yes, I knew how to collapse.

Comfortable chair, however unable to fold after use. Neither I nor people who tried to help was not able to fold it. Instead of having to watch you tube videos on how to accomplish this task I will return to Sam's.

I liked this chair until I tried to fold it up. We had two of them, and neither one would fold back up. I don't recommend these if you plan to take them to the beach. I think sand gets stuck in the gears and causes it to seize up.

I have bought 4 of these chairs and they are almost impossible to fold up after being used. Recently I bought 2 chairs, took them to the beach and returned them the next day! I would not purchase this product again.

Absolutely terrible once its open. It doesn't close. Had multiple people try, even two people at a time, and it would not budge. Ended up putting it in the trunk and tying the trunk lid down just so I could get home with it. Then watched a video on how to close it. Surprise more people have had this difficulty. Well, you just use a hammer and pound on the glides. So that the arms can go up and it will collapse. I guess ill carry a hammer. It's a terrible design. Love the color and sits comfortable.

The best feature about these chairs besides that they are over sized and comfortable, is the extra strap attached to the chair. I mostly use these at outdoor concerts, when allowed, and the strap allows me to leave the bag in the car, and still have a way to carry them on my shoulders.

We have 4 of these chairs. On folding them you stand behind them and pull up from the middle of the front seat. We were frustrated until we figured this out. The directions should be included in the sale to eliminate the frustration for buyers!!!!!!

These chairs are a GREAT bargain! Shipping is a little high, but understandable since they ship separately, packaged well. Be aware that they are heavy! I returned our two because they are too heavy for two senior citizens to carry for any distance for sports events, concerts, etc. Selling at other big box stores for much more! Get yours while they are in stock!

we bought these chairs in May and were very pleased with the sturdiness of them. we took them to an outside graduation and they did fine. we are now at the beach and like many other reviews has said they will not fold back up. we work with them a long time one night and they finally folded up. tonight we could only get one to fold up. we have washed all the sand off and nothing has worked. other people have all also tried to help to no avail. we are going to take these back to Sam's as soon as we get home. backyard chairs they are fine. for the beach a definite no!
