I have a female miniature schnauzer @15 lbs, almost 2-years old. She is pad/paper trained, so it is really east to travel with her. Lay down a pad and she will pee on it. In the past Sams routinely stocked 2-types of puppy pads--this kind and a second (much better) type that has been renamed/rebranded as "Multipurpose Absorbent Pads" (red/white box). We have used the other type of puppy training pads for the past 2-years. However, for some reason the other type of pads are now hard to find at all Sams Clubs. My husband bought 1-box of the "Ultra Premium Absorbent Pads" on his last trek to Sams. The "Ultra's" looked different--the quilting not as tight and the filling more translucent. Thankfully I doubled the pads when I had our dog use them. These pads will NOT keep @1-cup of pee from leaking through to the floor. When I rolled up the top pad, there was about a fist-size "leak" spot on the second pad I had laid beneath the top one. Note we NEVER leave pads on the floor with pee on them, so this leak through happened IMMEDIATELY. I can not imagine what a mess people have who 1) have larger puppies/dogs %26 2) leave the pads out while they are gone for a puppy/dog to use. I'm not sure WHY Sam's has made it so difficult to obtain the Multipurpose Absorbent Pads, but there is nothing "premium" or "absorbent" about the Ultra Premium Absorbent Pads. Don't buy them unless you want to double them, or clean up a mess every time you use them.
