I didn't think it was a big difference but it is. I was able to make a triple batch of cookies in the old one but now I'm lucky to make a double batch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid mixer that we bought 30 years ago still works fine, but we wanted to have a second mixer, as a back-up. Unlike many families today that don't cook much, we cherish the favorite recipes of our mothers. We appreciate the sturdy metal construction of both our mixers and expect the new one to last another 30 years. I learned about adjusting the screw in the articulating elbow of the mixer, to adjust the height of the paddle. This needs to be reinforced because I have already seen a Youtube where the reviewer thought her KitchenAid mixer was defective because the paddle grated on the bottom of the bowl - easy fix with the adjustment of the screw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the mixer and it is a great for all my needs, especially kneading dough, I am, however, upset that the white coating on the dough hook attachment is peeling off. I am hoping Kitchen Aid will replace it. It would have been 5 stars had not been for this issue.

Well it made things super easy, didn't free up any time because now she is making more goodies. Great machine and she loves it. Will be purchasing more attachments for it in the near future.

I gave it to her almost a month early so she could use it to make cookies for Christmas. We've made 20+ dozen cookies, mashed potatoes, and meringue with it and it's been really easy thanks to this mixer. Hoping it holds up as well as I've heard they do!

She could not justify the space it takes up on the counter based on the amount of baking she does in the kitchen. I thought that Kitchen Aid provided me a machine with great build quality, an inexpensive replacement warranty and additional accessory bonus at an amazing price, but it's being returned.

Until I was baking cookies with a friend and botched the recipe. It was either triple it, or throw it out. Her Kitchen Aid mixer made short work of that triple recipe! I went and bought one for myself the next day at 56 years old! I've used it for everything from baking to mixing meatloaf. How did I live this long without it?!
