I’ve been using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Daily Gel Cream Exfoliating Cleanser for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. The texture is super smooth and lightweight—it goes on like a gel but has a creamy consistency that feels gentle on the skin.

I did not enjoy this. It made my face burn. The texture is extremely griddy and did not go smoothly over the face at all. I tried it a few times before throwing the bottle away, unfortunately. The package is decent and it dispenses easily. I stored it in my bathroom along with my other skincare. I prefer a chemical exfoliant over a physical exfoliant.

The texture is a smooth gel with gentle exfoliating beads, so it never feels harsh. It glides on comfortably, foams lightly, and rinses off without leaving any tightness or residue. Instead, my skin feels super clean, soft, and hydrated, not stripped. As someone with combination skin, this was such a win. It helps keep my T-zone balanced and smooth while still giving enough moisture for the drier areas. After each wash, my face feels refreshed, glowing, and comfortably hydrated.

Good cleanser! It’s nice and hydrating …. Didn’t strip my skin away from its natural oils. I really like this cleanser because it is nice and gentle on the skin, but it also takes off dirt and oil. Although I did notice that it does not do a good job at removing make up even after having used it twice ( back to back ) to wash my face. Although it’s fragrance free and grade sensitive skin, It’s not the best product for those looking for a very clarifying or cleansing face.

Best for my skin and know I can trust Neutragena. Use in conjunction with other Neutragena products.

I've been using Hydro Boost exfoliating cleanser for a few years now. I like it because my skin stays moist instead of dried out.

I use this cleanser twice a day, AM and PM and it cleans but it is not dry my skin. I wish it would cost a bit less!

This cleaner makes my face feel super clean and ask exfoliated just the right amount! Def a favorite!
