Just started using this a couple days ago and instantly noticed a difference. It gently gets down into your skin and pores to clean everything out. My skin feels so soft and smooth after each use, and is significantly less red in the mornings because of it.

I bought this product because I am currently using the Hydro Boost water gel which works wonders for my dry skin! However, this product literally turned my face completely red and itchy.. I am so disappointed! I have dry sensitive skin and this did not work at all for me.

I purchased this product thinking I would fall in love but the opposite happened. My face looks as if I have a chemical burn all over. It's red, scabby, has a burning sensation and feels very tight. I went to work and stayed far away from my co-worker because now my face looks awful. I've purchased other things from Neutrogena but based off how I look right now, I am done with these products.

I have combo/oily skin that usually gets a few light, dry patches in the winter, so I was excited when I found Hydro Boost! I always have great results from Neutrogena products, but not this one... My jawline became unbearably itchy. I was just clawing at it and no amount of lotion or ice would help. I had red, scaly dry patches all along my less oily areas—jaw, lower cheeks, above lip, and forehead. After reading other negative reviews, it seems like I experienced the same sort of chemical type burn that others did. I have very durable skin that doesn’t typically react bad to facial products so this was a surprise. Even worse is that it’s been several days since I stopped using it and my face is still in scaly, patchy shape. I’m using moisturizing masks daily to repair my skin. On the bright side, my fiancé likes Hydro Boost, but I haven’t noticed his dry skin improving from it yet. I definitely recommend putting the additional disclaimer that this cleanser may cause irritation besides just the warning for sun exposure. Thanks!

I have very sensitive skin and exfoliating products irritates my skin. This irritated my skin. so I don’t know if it was a me problem or product problem. it had a watery consistency, kind of like the original cleanser. The product tells hyaluronic acid, so it has to be hydrating. for me, it just wasn’t effective and it left my face with little bumps on my forehead. again, my skin is sensitive and exfoliating products irritate my skin.

I've only been using this for a day or two and my skin already feels amazing! The micro beads dissolve so they don't end up getting in your eyes while your washing the solution off. My skin feels very soft and hydrated. I normally have very acne prone skin but I've switched to this for good.

I bought this cleanser for the exfoliating aspect but I am pleasantly surprised by how hydrating it is. It is a very comfortable cleanser to use right before bed, doesn’t leave you with a tight or dry feeling. After a few weeks of using both the dry skin and the sebaceous filaments on my nose have almost completely gone away, and the other day my husband commented that my skin was “glowing.” That’s a big accomplishment for winter dryness in California!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I reality loved the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Exfoliating Cleanser. Neutrogena has a wonderful line of products, so I expected much from this product. It has a great lather and ur mad my skin feel super clean after washing.

I have been using Neutrogena products over 4 years and have loved every single one! It is truly and honestly amazing! So decided to try their new Hydro Boost, the first night I tried it I got out the shower and my cheek bone and nose area were red and also hurt it felt like a really bad sunburn so tried it again the next day but had the same result so wasn't to satisfied about that but it's the only product I have ever had an issue with every other product has been amazing!

Im sorta new to this product, but Ive been using it 2-3 times a week for about a month. It is a lil too abrasive if used dry, so beware. However, if u add some water to ur hands and lather this up a lil, it will gently exfoliate while cleansing the skin without being too harsh. It does NOT leave my skin feeling tight, itchy and stripped of moisture like some scrubs can do.
