Like many other users, I wish I would've read reviews on this cleanser before purchasing. I typically have dry skin, but do not have any red/flaky patches or bumps...until I started using this! Within days, I noticed very dry skin along my chin/jawline, around my mouth, and right under my nose. I finally connected the dots and stopped using this cleanser and within 2-3 days my skin was back to normal. Very disappointed as I was looking for a hydrating cleanser and this one had completely adverse effects.

I tried this through Home Tester. I was very pleased with the product. It's okay to use on sensitive skin and doesn't over dry your face - even in a state like freezing cold Wisconsin! It's a gentle product but cleans well! I'd recommend this product by Neutrogena to friends and family.

My fiance and I both have pretty dry skin and in the harsh Colorado winter it can be the biggest pain in the neck! The hydro boost collection has been a life saver! This was the first product I got from it and fell in LOVE!! Makes skin feel SO soft and really takes care of all the dead skin and flakes off your face. So so worth it!

IF YOU USE THIS PRODUCT YOUR SKIN WILL TURN DRY AND RED. I HAVE WHITE BUMPS ON MY CHIN. MY SKIN HURTS. I USED THIS PRODUCT JUST A COUPLE TIMES BEFORE THIS HAPPENED. MY SKIN IS CONTINUING TO PEEL AND THE TEXTURE IS NOW DIFFERENT. TAKE THIS PRODUCT OFF THE SHELF AND BE HONEST WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS NEUTROGENA. THERE ARE ENOUGH PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME THING YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM OUR LAWYERS.

I was sure to wear sunscreen after using it,so I would recommend the same for others using this product, since that is included in the instructions. Overall, I would give Neutrogena Hydro Boost Exfoliating Cleanser 2 thumbs up.

I've used Proactiv for years and recently have been finding that it's causing my skin to become more and more dry so I decided to switch my cleanser to this to gain some extra moisture. I use it in the morning to wash my face and then again at night to remove any makeup which is seems to do a good job of doing. I dont know if I would say its a hydro "boost"...it doesnt seem overly moisturizing to me, but definitely an improvement

It’s not too harsh, which can be the main issue with a lot of exfoliating products. But, it does not leave your skin burning, or raw, but does a good job of just helping get rid of that thin layer of dead skin. Smell is good, and does not stink and I would recommend this to my friends for sure

This is the first step in my skincare routine. This is the third or forth time I've purchased it and nothing else has compared by far. I have very sensitive skin and it's the only exfoliant that doesnt irritate my skin. I reccomend it to anyone who needs a good staple face wash.

I was really excited when this cleanser came out! I really love it! It makes my face feel great. Ive been using it for a few weeks now. It is really gentle enough to use everyday and I've noticed a big difference in my skins texture. Since I have been using this my face feels smoother, and more clear. I will be buying this product again.
