It slaps and moves up and down. It’s frustrating to spend this kind of money and need to hold the mixer the entire time I’m mixing dough.

I’ve gone through several year after year. Not this year. I love having my hands free and letting the mixer do the work. Looking forward to continued use. I have used it a few times already and it's fabulous! Kitchen Aid is timeless beauty and a wonder of technology combined. It is clearly built to last and designed to dazzle. We gave one to our son as he loves to make authentic home made ramen dishes. Now with the mixer and the optional pasta roller he will be able to create delicious noodles to go with them. I wanted one for baking, breads in particular my dad used to make the best home made bread loaves and I can't wait. I also want to dive into making home made sausages using the meat grinder and sausage stuffing attachment. Both units were bundled with the box grater shredder slicer attachment we will use these like crazy. Thx

Still learning and challenging myself to new recipes each week to keep it active as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the mixer it's self, but we cannot use the bread hook, cause it will not fit on the post of the machine. It has to be a bad job from the factory when it was made. The wire wisk and paddle work fine, but not the bread hook. This is why I gave it 3 stars, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
