My boys are now adults and gifted me a new one for Mother's Day. I love the newer model smooth look. High quality machine to help make great memories.

With the nerve damage in that arm now it makes it very hard to mix when cooking. I have gone through a few other mixers that have broke but still always had to scrap the side of the bowls while mixing. I have always wanted the kitchen aid mixer but couldn't afford it. Well after my recent surgery in November the mixer I had broke while making gingerbread cookies. My husband told me to go ahead and buy tje Kitchen Aid. Oh my goodness! This mixer was a lifesaver during the holidays only being one handed. I never had to scrap the bowl. It bended all the ingredients very well and in half the time other mixers have done. I love to cook and I can not wait to be able to purchase the attachments!

After careful research, I found the reviews for the 5 Quart Tilt-Head KitchenAid Stand Mixer to be exceptional. What sealed the deal was that Kohl's was offering the Value Bundle Artisan Series 5 with the Fresh Prep attachment at a price I couldn't pass up. I've been very happy with the mixer and used it enthusiastically to make my Christmas cookies. So happy that I have it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Kitchen Aid stand mixer for myself. I alway wanted one and finally saved enough to afford it. It came as a bundle with the food processor attachment. I have to say I absolutely love the stand mixer but am not liking the food processor attachment. The food gets stuck inside between the casing and the blade and it’s a big pain in the butt. The mixer itself I would give 5 stars all day long. Used it for mashed potatoes and dough. Can’t wait to bake Christmas cookies this year. Unfortunately the food processor attachment will be put away in the cabinet to collect dust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Kitchen Aid mixer. I had my last Kitchen Aid mixer for 40 years and wanted to get one that had a larger bowl and handle. My other mixer I gave to my daughter to use since she did not have one. I am thrilled with the mixer but so far I am disappointed with the slicer when I used it to slice vegetables. It sliced the vegetables too thin and they were mushy in the soup I made . There should be a thicker blade for vegetables. I haven’t tried the shredder yet on cheese but I hope too soon. Over all I am very pleased with my mixer !

Now when cooking or baking I set the timer and clean up the kitchen as I go. Meanwhile the product I'm preparing comes out just right! Haven't used the attachments yet but I'm thinking I'll love them too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. I absolutely love the shredder attachment. Shreads cheese in minutes. Mixer is fantastic. Wish I bought sooner. The only negative is the splatter shield. The gap between the mixer and the edge of the shield is a bit too large and let's flour fly out while mixing.
