I made use of the shredder attachment the first night, and have since purchased a few addt'l accessories. I am soooo glad that I decided to purchase the mixer since Kitchenaid was offering such a great price. Due to all of the quarantine shopping that was going on around the world, the delivery was delayed approx 2wks, but absolutely worth that wait!

My husband surprised me with a new one since I am cooking so much. I love this one as much as my first! It is the perfect mixer for kneading bread as well as making cookies. I love the design of the new pouring shield! The slicer/shredder is a new sleek design and works well.

The addition of the slicer/shredder has also a very useful tool - the presentation of her food is gorgeous and food preparation is less time-consuming. But it definitely isn't as big as you think. It fits nicely on my counter for easy access. I use it all the time for making cakes, cookies, mashed potatoes and breads. It slaps and moves up and down. It’s frustrating to spend this kind of money and need to hold the mixer the entire time I’m mixing dough.
