It's a very nice coffee maker, but my greatest critique of it is that it does not come with the stainless steel carafe that it used to come with.

Brew and grind is a decent machine. My only complaint is about grinds somehow getting in to coffee. Grind is a corse grind.

Only lasted 25 days before it stopped grinding. It also always made a low sub sonic squeal when it was just sitting off. Terrible product, thankfully I was able to return it. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

Just like many of the reviews states the carafe design is horrible. About 20% of the coffee leaks out from the plastic banding around the top of the glass carafe. Did they not test the carafe design before they put the machine out on market? Looks like the only option is to return the machine. Cuisinart wouldn't send a new carafe even though the machine is less than 1 week old.

Maybe it's my fault for buying Eight O'Clock medium roasted but there are 3 levels of strength and the highest makes a weak cup of coffee. Disappointingly weak. I don't know if there's a work around but I can't find it. I'll update this after I buy a quality dark roast and try that.

grinder as part of the coffee maker is amazing but I read the reviews that this was quieter than separate grinders and it is not. quite loud, and the grounds catcher overfills over the filters which isn't super awesome for cleaning up quickly. but it works, makes coffee and grinds the beans

The DGB-800 is working perfectly, I set the grind to the #6 setting and the coffee is perfect ! Very easy to operate and clean up. Everyone likes our coffee, so we tell the about the coffee maker and the coffee we get online. we get coffee online at a very good savings' we buy 10lb each time we order coffee . I gets here in about 3-4 days.

This is the best coffeemaker for those that appreciate a cup of coffee from freshly ground beans.

Love it, Grind and Brew perfect every time. One stop coffee.

Great Machine. Makes very good coffee and easy to clean. Could use a bigger hopper however.
