Love the front load LG washer and dryer We had another set of LG front loaders for 24 years. We moved and I decided to try a different brand of top load machines. Was not a fan after 4 years I decided to go back to LG front load and was definitely the best decision. This washer is fast and efficient. Quiet, has more than enough choices for different load types and uses less water. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my LG front load washing machine for several weeks now, and I'm very happy with its performance. It has a lot of cycles to choose from, and the ones I've tried so far are generally shorter than on my former washer but clean just as well. I'm able to fine tune each load on the washer settings to adjust for the amount of soiling and the spin speed. The machine seems able to handle loads more easily then my prior washer without struggling (but I also try to limit the loads to about half full). I am very happy with my new LG washer and highly recommend it.

I LOVE this washer. It is a huge upgrade from my previous front load washer. Honestly, not even comparable. Pros: 1. The app is phenomenal. The user experience is genuinely good. It is intuitive and enjoyable to use. I love the sounds, colors, and how customizable everything is. It makes laundry feel easy instead of annoying. 2. Soap dispenser is excellent. Very straightforward to load detergent and things like laundry sanitizer. No mess, no guessing. 3. No soap residue. This is the biggest win for me. My previous washer often left residue, even though I measured detergent carefully every time. I almost always had to run a second wash. With this LG, I have not had that issue at all. The TurboWash option is a big bonus. 4. Clothes always come out clean. No fabric softener and no scent boosters because I have sensitive skin, and they still smell fresh. That alone tells me this washer is doing its job right. 5. Spin cycle is strong. Clothes come out well spun and not soaking wet. That alone makes a difference. I also love the Fresh Care option since I am not always there right when the cycle ends. 6. Drain pump design is much better. Easy to clean and secure. No leaks and no stress. 7. Quiet and stable. No excessive shaking, vibration, or noise. It just runs. Cons: 1. Drum light is inconvenient. I have to go through multiple steps using the digital dial. The light turns off quickly, and then I have to repeat everything again. A simple one-step option would be better. 2. Too dependent on the app. The app is great, but I do not always want to use my phone. I wish there were more direct buttons on the machine itself. The digital dial works, but it is not as quick and takes more steps than it should without the app. Overall: This washer fixed the biggest issues I had before, especially residue, cleaning performance, and water extraction. It is reliable, easy to use, and it just works. A couple of small usability improvements would make it perfect, but overall performance has been excellent.

Ok that out of the way, I have other LG appliances so naturally went LG again for the washer and dryer, plus the pedestal washer (awesome!). The washer is for my elderly father so simplicity was key which is not always the case with new digital appliances. The washer has an easy to read dial which lights up which cycle to use (we chose the AI one). It's a large capacity and replaced his older topload LG direct drive which served well for over 10 years. This is much more modern looking. easier to use, and with the pedestal washer is great for smaller loads. High spin cycles are super well balanced and it's very quiet too. Only thing I wish it had was the detergent reservoir where you can pour in enough for multiple loads.

I’ve done a few loads with this washer a few times now, and it’s been awesome! The 5.0 cu. ft. capacity is huge so I can wash big loads without cramming everything in. The TurboWash 360° feature is also great because it cleans super fast but still gets everything fresh. I also like that it has AI sensing, so it automatically adjusts the settings for the type of clothes I throw in. The Allergiene and Pet Care cycles are nice extras, which are perfect for bedding and pet stuff. Plus the controls are easy to use and the design looks sleek in my laundry room. Overall, it’s powerful, smart, and makes laundry feel way less of a chore.

The washer cleans very well overall. The worrying thing is that it is slightly unstable and bounces and moves around little during cycles. (I am not overloading it). The drum is also slightly loose compared to all other display units I've seen in store which seem to be quite rigid, although I haven't seen this specific model that I purchased to be able to compare my unit to. I have not tried any AI or smart features like connect to it through an app so I can't give any feedback in that regard.

The washer washes. The spin cycle leaves clothes wet. I always have to do an additional spin cycle only. I have tried all the washes, big loads, small loads, towels, pants etc. Doesn't matter. The spin cycle needs to be LONGER!!! Also the yellow light inside washer makes all the clothes look dingy and dirty. Why you would choose a yellowish like is a questionable choice.

LG is crap. I only had this washer two weeks before the door started pouring water out. I’ve been waiting two months for LG to fix it and I’m still waiting for the repair facility to show up.
