[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family has always been picky about toilet paper, so I knew replacing our usual brand with Charmin Ultra Soft would be a challenge. As expected, the toilet paper was met with great skepticism and trepidation. The first complaint I received was that it didn't fit on our built in holder. We have an old home with a recessed tile toilet paper holder, which couldn't accommodate the large roll. We used the paper off of the holder until it got down to a size that fit, then were able to hang it and put it to the real test. You can imagine my shock and disbelief when it received tremendously positive reviews! My husband was especially pleased with the strength of the paper, which is durable and never tears. I found it to be soft and comfortable to use, but not so soft that it leaves pieces behind. As for the thickness, it is just right and doesn't clog the toilet. We haven't had to use a plunger at all, while we were using it. The rolls last a long time, but I wish they were a little smaller so we could use them on our holder immediately. Also, hubby didn't really care for the frilly floral print, which he thought was too girly. Perhaps a simpler design pattern would have better all around appeal. Not sure what the price is on this particular product, but we certainly would consider buying it in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Toilet tissue is one of the greatest inventions out there, it is simple but who wants to do without it. Charmin is the best I have ever tried. So no matter if you call it bathroom tissue,or toilet paper Charmin is all you need to call it. There is ultra soft, ultra strong or basic, they all do the job and do it well. It will not clog your septic tank and you use less when it is so thick and strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra was just the toliet paper I had been looking for.So nice and soft,not stiff like other toliet papers seem to be.When I received my pack of toliet paper from Charmin,I had never seen such enormous rolls of paper.These rolls of charmin were twice as big as any of the name brand toliet papers I had ever used before.When I look for toliet paper I look for the softest rolls I can find and how much is on a roll of paper before I buy it.

I love your product and have used it for years but your "new" narrower rolls will force me to find an alternate product. For heaven's sake, raise your price if you absolutely have to but don't compromise the quality of your product or your reputation!

We've purchased your Mega Roll Soft 16 pack since it came out. I but 6-8 packages at a time. Everytime I buy a new group, the rolls get narrower. Pretty soon I'll just buy dental floss. It's gone down in width by over an 1" in under a year. Is this continuing? Should I start looking for dental floss in mega rolls or other brands of toilet tissue?

The mega rolls last us about 4-5 days for our family of 5. It is soft, so no sandpaper scratchy feeling and strong so we can use less to get the job done. It's a money saver because we get more use from every roll than other brands and a time saver because we make less trips to the store for tp! Our littlest one is potty training and I know his sensitive little tush won't hurt after wiping with Charmin Ultra Soft and I can teach him to use less from the get go because it's so effective. Everyone should pamper their tushies and use Charmin Ultra Soft. More money saved means more to spend on so e family fun time and less trips to the store means more time for fun! Right away I noticed that the roll and paper itself felt much thicker then our usually store brand toilet paper. We have been buying the same store brand toilet paper for years and at first it was difficult to use the right amount of Charmin. Since it is much thicker we could use much less of it at a time. I was surprised at how soft and strong it is. However I didn't like that it always leaves some "crumbs" whereas my usual paper doesn't. If Charmin could work on this little flaw it would be the perfect toilet paper for us! This toilet paper isn't only good for the toilet it also works great as a tissue. I do have allergies and suffer from a runny nose daily. Charmin felt super soft on my nose and kept it clean without a red rash. We used this product for about 5 days. Unfortunately we ran out of it rather quickly because we are used to a cheaper and thinner toilet paper and used too much at a time. I would definitely recommend this product and once you get used to the thickness it is easy to figure out the right amount. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Charmin UltraSoft Mega roll for review. I am the type who is a middle of the road toilet paper person. I don't want the cheapest toilet paper, due to the scratchy, sand paper-like feel, but I also don't want to use the most expensive and feel like I am using golden leaves. I compared this Charmin with my current 2ply toilet paper and was surprised to find that the thickness of the Charmin 1ply was as thick (if not thicker) than my 2ply current brand. On top of that the Charmin was more cloth-like; however, I did not feel like any lint would be left behind (excuse the pun). The mega roll was definitely larger than a double roll, but still fit nicely on my toilet paper holder, without need of an extender. We do have a septic tank so I left a piece of toilet paper in a toilet (clean toilet water) to see if the paper would start to dissolve/disintegrate. After 12 hours, the Charmin still looked like it had just been placed there. I am not sure what the clog-safe claims are based on. I did not want to test those claims with more toilet paper. Overall, my family were pleased with the product.
