Do you realize you only get 71 sheets per a regular roll (284/4)? That's how they confuse you. MEGA just means they are loading a roll up but you have to compare it to a SINGLE roll. Then you can compare to the competitors which have more per roll and therefore less cost per. The quality is no better than Angel Soft. Rather get better coverage and cost compared to Charmin Mega.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free 4 pack of Charmin Ultra Soft from Charmin. My husband usually buys toilet paper in bulk from a warehouse store. Although we get a lot at once (36 rolls) we seem to go through it quickly. After trying Charmin Ultra Soft, I can see that each roll will last a longer time. The reason is the thickness and softness. You really do not need to use as many squares per wipe! The quality is apparent. Comparing the new Charmin Ultra Soft to the warehouse bargain brand, the Charmin wins out. It is very plush feeling. So soft that I don't mind using it instead of tissues for my children's faces/noses. Also, unlike many other soft feeling toilet papers, Charmin Ultra Soft does not fall apart or turn into little pilly balls when it gets wet. The only potentially negative thing that I noticed with the Charmin is the width of the roll. The Charmin Ultra Soft is 4 inches across. Whereas the warehouse brand that we usually buy is 4.5 inches across. I'm not sure which width is standard, as these are the only two brands we have in the house at the moment. However, I'm accustomed to seeing the 4.5 inch width in the toilet paper holder. So the new Charmin 4 inch roll looks a little "loose" on the holder. Certainly, the missing half of an inch does not affect the quality and feel of the Charmin. It is unnoticeable during actual use of the toilet paper. Just thought I would mention it because it is noticeable in the holder when switching from a 4.5 inch roll. I would most definitely purchase Charmin Ultra Soft. It's the "good toilet paper", the kind to stock when having a party or houseguests!

The best tp we have used and here is why..... soft and strong also great for using as a tissue to blow your nose It is thick my kids use less It last a long time Over all the vaule and quality speak for its self. We will not be buying any other brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got my Charmin and was pleasantly surprised at the shear size of the rolls , some brands have such tiny little rolls they're gone in no time. Basically a whole package on one roll! The rolls last a long time and being there is so much TP on one roll storage is also less, 16 5rolls of TP take up a lot of space and since I have a small bathroom with out a lot of storage space this was a plus too! Two pluses and I hadn't even used it! In use it has proved to be soft absorbent and the roll lasts a long time truthfully I feel I need to use less to clean up. Definitely feel I will purchase again

My son likes to use a lot and he has cut down his use of toilet paper. I am happy to say we save money now lol. There is 5 of us here and it last longer than one day. We have previously tried other brands of "softer" tissue and they just weren't what we liked. When I got this Charmin, I figured, what the heck - it's free! We've been using it and having to get used to the thicker sheets, but it is pretty darned good!

Charmin says you shouldn't be left thinking "good enough" when it comes to the bathroom but I was left with less than that after using Charmin Ultra Soft. It was soft yes, but fell apart in use. Charmin is a well-known company that has been around for quite some time, I expect better when using their product. The quality is not worth the cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the new Charmin toilet paper to sample. The quality of paper is excellent, but they made the roll look like you are getting more paper. What they did was, made the roll narrower and used the excess to add more sheets. You are getting the same amount of paper, just configured differently. We like the larger sheets better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was amazed at how thick this toilet paper is. I definitely was impressed. I found I had to use way less than other brands because of the thickness and strength of this paper. Honestly, I have to say there is another brand that I use regularly that is a bit softer but not as strong, so which do I chose? I would rather have strength in a toilet paper and sacrifice a bit of softness.
