I noticed my daughter always goig downstairs to use the bathroom... When I asked her why... She said it was where the soft toilet paper was! We all agree in our family... It does it's job... I had tried Charmin many years ago but always thought it was too soft and crumbly. My family really liked the Charmin Ultra Soft. It was just right--nice and soft, but durable at the same time. I love the size of the mega rolls. They really last a long time and still fit in a regular toilet paper holder. I am so glad that I got the chance to try it. I really like it!

Even my 7 year old noticed that I had switched our toilet paper, and he said (and I agree) this is the best toilet paper. We've bought Charmin Ultra Soft Toilet Tissue for many, many years. I've spent 60 + years serving the United States Navy. There are roughly 1.4 million military personnel and families serving the United States. All of us are used to putting a Straight Edge on everything we do, i.e. folding Tee Shirts, Underware, towels, etc. With the new SMOOTH TEAR it is impossible to put a straight edge on toilet paper. Don't know where your engineering personnel came up with this Smooth Tear but it is horrible, if this isn't fixed you'll lose a lot of customers.

It is soft but strong enough so that I don't have to use as much when I'm 'in the need'. The mega roll is nice because it doesn't have to be replaced as often. There is also less hassle having to store a lot of extra rolls of TP in case of emergency. It's a good weight so my fingers don't poke through. (not pleasant to talk about and even less pleasant to have happen. This Charmin is soft on my tush and gets things cleaned up without having to use a lot of sheets. It is also safe for septic tanks and won't clog the toilet. This is a concern for me since I dont' want to have to pay a lot to clean out the septic tank. And, really, who wants to have to plunge a toilet? I know it might be a little more pricey than other brands but if I can use less and the roll lasts longer it seems like a good deal for the money. I will be purchasing this for my bathrooms from now on because I think it's a great product for the money and I like the way it 'feels' when I use it. I feel pampered!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving my BzzKit, we did a side by side comparison of Charmin vs our every day brand. The Charmin roll is wider and noticeably softer. The Charmin ultra soft even felt good on my sore nose as I battled an upper respiratory infection. The Charmin roll also lasted almost twice as long as usual. The one drawback, it doesn't fit as many rolls in my cabinet. Overall the Charmin stood up to its competition. A win in our household!

Recently Charmin's width is narrower. This is very bad because now I have to use almost twice the roll just to achieve the same clean when I "go." Have been using Charmin Ultrasoft for as long as I can remember, but I have to switch to a different company's roll now.

Even with four different people living in our household from ages 12 to 40, we ALL agreed on what we thought of this great toilet paper. Compared to our normal store brand paper, Charmin has great quality and definitely tells the truth on their packaging! The last thing about this Charmin Ultra Soft is that it's VERY septic-friendly!
