I got this a couple days ago and I am so happy that I did! I saw a lot of speakers that are around this price point/budget and this one spoke to me because it was sleek and elegant. I saw that the sound quality was superb! The pros great highs, balanced mids, and crisp bass. portable cranks up very loud Charging cradle charges with micro usb charger The cons It randomly disconnects occasionally Overall, it's worth the money and you will not regret. You will definitely be impressed at this amazing speaker!

My purchase occurred at Bose.com on 08-June-2015. As an experienced audiophile, the SoundLink Mini II delighted my listening expectations using my favorite test track, "Enamored" by Bella Sonus. However, I can't award this model five (5) stars because of a POWER-ON FLAW... Here's what happens: When not used for a few days (Left fully or partially charged), this model won't respond to a POWER-ON button press... it acts as if the rechargeable BATTERY IS DEAD!!! The only way to "Wake it up" is to start charging it for a few seconds, stop charging and re-try POWER-ON... which works then as it should!

I recently purchased this speaker, and have been very pleased with the quality of sound and volume capability. As with all of the Bose products the workmanship and quality are obvious. The weight alone tells you this is a quality design. Built to last and stand up to anything I will do with it. When I can afford the purchase I plan on moving up to the full size Soundlink.....

I bought my Soundlink Mini on a recent trip to Rome. I had been looking for a Bluetooth speaker and I saw it at a way better price than I could get it at home, also justified it as a momento of the trip. I knew it would be good but never expected to hear what I did, superb! The slightly retro looks are great, ease of connection is excellent, sound reproduction exceeds everything I need or had hoped for. I'm sure that there are those who know more than me and can find details that could be better but for me they're perfect. The only reason I wondered about giving a rating of five stars was that I couldn't give my speaker six stars. If you're wondering yes or no, go out now and get it. You won't be sorry.

This is the third bluetooth speaker that I have owned. It is clearly the best sounding speaker of the three but in my opinion it has a major flaw. The bluetooth connection ends if nothing is played for 30 minutes. This feature makes sense when it is off the charger and you want to conserve the battery. While on the charger it should allow you to keep the connection. With my other portable speakers I can set my alarm to music and it will play through the speaker, even after eight hours.

I have this pair with my echo dot and love it. sounds great and portable sound where the dot needs to remain plugged in. sound is great and never distorted. not extremely loud but its a mini unit and not expected to be but it puts out a punch. I take it out on the boat, out in the yard, on vacations to stream from my phone. absolutely love it. they are well received when I started to give them out as gifts to friends. easy to use and never issue with the blue tooth connection

Not a good value at 150 dollars. Very bass heavy sound, especially at courteous listening levels. No equalizer function. So bass heavy as to wash out the otherwise great mid-range and treble sound quality. No good in my apartment where I am trying to NOT disturb neighbors. Only sounds good turned up loud in large spaces. Instruction manual is a joke and does not address details such as optimal placement for best sound. Weighs a ton. Accessory carrying case costs a fortune. Bought JBL Flip 4 for half what I paid for this and I now I don't want use this Bose. Don't know what to do with this brick now.

I just mine today... amazing sound from a truly small, and most importantly, potable package! And the feature I really needed was the speaker phone which turns my cell phone into an office speaker phone... Thrilled with this product but then again, I have never had a Bose product that didn't deliver on its promise!

It sounds great. Need to keep device much closer than 30 feet. I also have bose 301, bose outdoor speakers, wave radio /cd plsyer and audio wireless bluetooth. Great product and customer service is very knowledgeable and if you have a problem, they will make it right.

I still have my original SoundLink Mini speaker and it has made the trip from the USA to Brazil and back several time in my backpack. I take it with me during photo assignments within Brazil and it just keeps on going. I would be at home or leave home without it!
